There is so much more to this. Similarities in DNA do not have to mean it evolves from the same. Use your logic, do you believe reptiles wanted to bare children and give milk and became mammals over time, just because some changes in cimate and environment? Do they want to develop wings, beaks, feathers and want to fly? Where does this 'need' to fly etc. come from. Saying it developed over millions years is simply walking away from reason. How does evolution wants to explain camouflage (and why we don't have it to!) and colors? Think. Everything has intelligence behind it, people have shouted it off as religious but that's putting your logic and mind at point zero.
I do not agree with most of religions, but I do agree that evolution has had such a big influence on the world, it tells people they are just a bunch of chemicals that are magically 'alive' from out of nothing. Pop! And there is life. There is no meaning etc to life, all your dreams, thoughts, feelings are just a product of the mind. (they shout it off as this, because they don't understand the mind and soul) Tell this to generations and see what society becomes. Perfect tool to keep the people under control and dumb them down to body consciousness and more shallow materialistic desires and behaviour. And more money for them.

It's one of the most influential hidden tools and most people fail to see this.

Its actually a lot deeper than that, people who believe in God do not accept the State as sole authority over their lives. This causes problems for the rulers since people will disobey the State where they contradict the instructions of God. In previous times they have overcome the problem by co opting the peoples beliefs in God or creating new Gods for the people, a new State endorsed religion. This has met with varying degrees of success over the years but inevitably people will eventually discard these Government created Gods. It was deemed sometime around 250 years ago (The rise of the Rothschild family and formation of the Illuminati) that the idea of an external God had to be crushed once and for all, leading to the promotion of Evolution and Communism during the next Century, Communism to be the new State mandated Godless Religion. What went wrong you may ask after the fall of the Soviet Union ? the Soviet regime was just a trial run, despite many faults the Russian Czars had never let the Rothschilds take control of Russia and had to be removed. Communism is still alive and well, but disguised to most observers and will be reintroduced as a saviour to the world after some major worldwide catastrophe, engineered economic collapse or worldwide war, of course it won't be called Communism.

Angel! There are many evolutionaries that are not atheist. Science and God do not have to be separate entities.
Something started a process known as our universe. It may have been God himself or perhaps Aliens in a different dimension had their Genesis experiment go horribly wrong.
Of course they may have survived the ensuing explosion are still hanging out in their own dimention and periodically like to drop in for a visit and make cool designs in our wheat and corn crops.
Either way, the life processes were started and continue to change.
The basic definition of evolution is merely "change over a long period of time".
The Earth did just fine before human habitation showed up.
It was "the brilliant thinkers" that have given us the means to blow it all up. Unfortunately, the not so brilliant thinkers are still planning on blowing it all up in order to remake the world look like 7th century Arabia.

You obviously haven't a clue about the relevance of "missing links" in the grand scheme of things and you clearly know nothing of the many examples of evolution in action, e.g. the giant tortoises on the Galapagos Islands.

Well I am am sorry that we disagree, and no, the time of man is over. Once a race begins abusing the energy laws as a race, as the reptiles did, way back in the time before man, it's time to shut down the testing arena. The reptiles got too old, literally dacadent and the behaviour of abusing the laws of creation began being a part of the race, it seems physically as well. I think this time He will shut it down a little sooner. As far as 2012, I don't know how we got on the Mayan Calendar, might happen a little sooner. I think maybe somebody is trying to lengthen the amount of time they have left by altering perception of reality through the widespred advertising of the Mayan calendar.
