dreams about bombs

so twice in the past week i've had some seriously vivid and lengthy dreams about bombs going off, specifically mushroom clouds on the horizon and people screaming and panicking and burning. i told my friend that i was having nightmares a few days later and she said she was too. when i asked her what they were about, she said bombs, explosions, and panicking people!

i felt like i had to ask if anyone else has had bomb-related dreams and if you think these are premonitions of some kind of the up and coming bombing of iran or even nuclear war with china in WW3

ps: my dreams were accompanied by pounding headaches, distinct pressure on the forehead and crown, and fear. also my first bomb dream was followed by a long dream about flying after a gray and catching him and also another one that was just a BAM flash of white light, intensely scary gray's face and when i opened my eyes, the white light was still briefly visible even though it faded out quickly

those last three all happened within 2 hours(from 1:30am to 3:30am) even though it felt like 5 or 6hrs

and also id be happy to explain them in more detail if anyone asks

It's funny you should mention it,:D I had this dream about a month a go. I'd already posted it somewhere else so I'll copy it here;

I had the most vivid dream of the apocalypse in Leeds last night, I've never been there in my life but somehow I witnessed a nuclear holocaust there, I remember it exactly. I was upstairs heard a thunder and looked out the window to see a mushroom cloud, my friends and I laid down on the floor and braced ourselves waiting for the after shock, boom then another one went off this time much closer, someone screamed "it's the apocalypse" and even though I was laying on the floor with my eyes closed I still saw this magnificent flash. It was so real and I remember laying there thinking wow this is really it, I'm about to die, so I thought to myself I've done DMT before which is like dying so I imagined to myself I'd just had a huge hit of DMT and was about to have a trip, just as I had that thought I woke up and I was in my bed, it was the morning and time to get up, really bizzare..

that is really crazy! i dont know where i was, but i was on a slope going down like the side of a mountain and there were trees everywhere. i was in a jeep with some friends and i was driving and we could see over the whole rest of the forest and i looked up and saw this giant towering mushroom cloud way in the distance but it was huge, and then another bomb went off very close and i remember throwing it in reverse and then i switched dreams

Me too. Mine was about 3 months ago but it was so vivid that it was like I had the dream last night. And it also stuck in my mind because there was no dreamlike quality to it - it felt very matter of fact and real. Very simply we were at home, the ground started shaking violently, I ran into the garden saw the sky changing colour and the trees swishing around. The ground was shaking so much that we could barely stand and I shouted to my partner that "it's started" and we ran inside again. I remember the aftermath as well.

Only thing is in my mind I computed it as a pole shift but I did have thoughts about bombs as well. I discovered at the time that I wasn't the only one having similar dreams and I seem to recall a letter in Nexus Magazine about others having this experience as well.

Over the years I’ve had a few dreams regarding bombs.

One in November 2002…In the dream I was somewhere in America although I've never been there physically but I knew (Kind of sensed it) it was the USA because I saw a yellow cab outside a shopping complex and a new construction. Something indicates that this may be Brooklyn. A man inside the cab had a silver suitcase on his lap which he explodes.

Another in July 2003…I was shopping with my Mother in the U.K (even though I live in Oz?) when I heard a loud bang followed by another bang. Smoke billowed over roof tops and people fled down a street towards me. In the sky I saw two missiles flying overhead.

In June 2005…I saw two nuclear bombs exploding so I equipped myself with food rations and essentials. After that I was searching through unknown areas for my brother (who lives in U.K) and signs of other people.

November 2005…I was attending an event at a Royal Residence when there was an explosion and everyone was ushered inside an underground cellar.

Not sure why I have those dreams but its strange how most of the explosions are in the U.K?

yeah those are some wierd ones

what worries me is that i heard somewhere that traffic cops in the uk are being given normal police duties because the police will be busy with riots and "an upcoming war", so i hope that these aren't premonitions yikes

I have too had several bomb/war related dreams- infact very scary ones!! Most of the time im at my old house in the countryside and it has a fantastic view over the west coast of the island i live on and i could see bomber planes-helicopters-chinnooks-parachuters- all with japanese flags/symbols on them, we all had to do the same as in Montags dream and duck down laying below the windowsill as they peppered the houses with bullets and bombs!! Very scary!!

The oter night i dreamt that the army/military had built a very fast fighter jet with what looked like tetra masts coming out of the front of it!! I was on the ground as they loaded it with people such as the Duchess of york etc (royalty/important people to show off too) and took the for a test flight in it- i couldnt believe how fast it flew it was supersonic almost, but when thet landed they got out and everyone was fine and laughing and the public cheered and saluted them, i remember making a firm point of not saluting and keeping my hands behind my back....then i got the distinct impression that was the wrong thing to do as the attention turned on me as to why i hadnt saluted them!!:rolleyes::eek: t'was scary as at the time!! :D

Just noticed this thread, over about the 12 years or so I've had about half a dozen 'apocalyptic' dreams. They are always much more vivid than my normal dreams and have always had what looks like the space shuttle involved. Well, an exaggerated/stylised version of the space shuttle any way.

The 'shuttle' always seems to be a bomb which it fly's in a strange manner, like a ufo would, stopping, starting, moving freely in any direction. It always ends up detonating itself to release a huge mushroom cloud.

my friend is gonna be blown away by how many other people have bomb dreams, especially recently! shes not quite as interested in this stuff as i am but im starting to convert her, so we'll see!

I've had a vivid dream of a nuclear attack on my family and I twice in the past 3 months. The first time I was visibly shaken for the next few days - scary shit. The second time I just kind of shirked it off as internal fear, because "you only dream about yourself".

In the second dream, I was just outside of LA, and I did see some sort of space shuttle thing up there before the bomb hit. That's strange isn't it.. it was like a fatter version of the space shuttle and it moved around arbitrarily, but slowly. I was quite focused on this thing for a period of time, it must be important whatever it is supposed to represent.

It's just your own fear of all that stuff manifesting itself. I do have a lot of that (hard not to anymore), but I'm working on releasing it and just being happy to be here for now.

I had a really strange and dark dream where at one point a small birds' wings had been torn out of their joints and lying in the pavement. Throughout the dream there were caged birds. Weird...

Yup! I’ve had the space shuttle pop up in a couple of my other types of disaster dreams….It does look like the shuttle but fly’s erratically…In a figure of 8 in mine. :confused:

im just throwing this out there, but lets assume that they are going to stage a fake alien invasion. a really scary and powerful sight would be seeing a nasa space shuttle out of control (or seem so) and then exploding, as if attacked

Honestly though! I think they can cause enough chaos just by knocking out the things we all rely on…I’d say some satellite systems will be one of the first things to go.

Then neighbours will be throttling each other over food etc…I guess we’ll be our own worst enemies in the end.

I once had a quick glance at a document which advised certain privileged folk about routes towards designated underground shelters…I was horrified to know that in the event of a nuclear attack that the armed forces would have orders to shoot and kill their own country folk just to keep the roads clear for the chosen ones...:eek:

lol i had dream , i was eating human flesh (fresh flesh) it was so sick dream flash tasted so bad and i was spitting it out .... :(.....

No seriously, i often dream of aliens, or the end of the world, ascension all sorts of weird stuff. It just soaks in is all.

When i had my mystic experience, i saw the end of the world many times. For ages i stretched for literal explainations, but then i started to understand how powerful the metaphor is.

End of times, is like a creation myth. It "explains" and resolves dualities and contradictions.
