This is one Marjorie Dawes would give her baby!
Any excuse to fill us with chemicals and hormones, even when we're babies!

I know! The fact that it's even being seriously suggested makes my blood run cold! Thank God my kids 12 now! I was gald to see the GMTV doctor Hilary Jones speaking out against it though.

well you know many say not to give your baby the soy based formulas as they can mess with the estrogen levels and feminize the males i believe, so nothing should really shock me at this point.

Are you planning on breast-feeding? I recomend it.
Soya is a very unhealthy foos if it's eaten in excess. It interferes with your endocrine system, as you say. Alan Watt says that it also makes a person docile and obedient. No wonder it's so widely used in processed food today! Especially in prisons it seems.

yes i am planning on breast feeding. i have a friend who was unable to do so because of something wrong... not sure exactly what but she tried and tried and was very upset that she could not. it is definitely the best option if possible.
and you know i am not even supposed to be eating tofu or any soy type of products during pregnancy, but that is not it, there are so many toxins that i have eaten/drank in the past and never thought twice about.
i am learning all sorts of things now that i am pregnant. like you really should not eat nitrates....

but i did further research and this is not just for pregnant women. nitrates can actually cause cancer.

There's so much advice and counter advice that's hard to know where to turn! I suppose the best option is to just live as natural a life as possible. It makes sense from an evolutionary point of view that all the nutrients we need are naturally provide by our environment. If they weren't we wouldn't be here.
