I'd forgotten about this, but I used to have a Swedish girlfriend many moons ago, and I remember being really surprised when she told me that the Government in Sweden have a list of approved names that you can only call your child.

Almost everyone has a circle of associates, and appearences to keep up, it's not exactly a simple step.
I'm not having a go, I think we've all been guilty of daydreaming or hoping that someone out there would do something when it is up to each individual to be the change they wish to see in the world.

Actually I think your ex girlfriend did suprise you with a joke. I have not ever heard of a list in my country of approved names for babys , I could be wrong but have not recall such a list before.

Change your name to Adenoyd Hynkel as in Charlie Chaplin's film, the great dictator, or something just as outrageous that has the initials "A.H". Grow a funny moustache or just stick on some black electrical tape and put on a dictatorial uniform with a big hat. An armband with a pyramid and an eye instead of a swastika, maybe some flags with the same symbol or a dollar/euro sign. Also, do that Gordon Brown gulp now and then when speaking. :D
