Woman Charged After She And Her Child Were Shot In Road Rage Attack By Psycho San Diego California Police Officer Frank White

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA — A woman whose 8-year-old son was shot by an off-duty San Diego police officer during a traffic dispute has pleaded not guilty to felony child endangerment.
The state attorney general’s office charged Rachel Silva in June with putting the boy at risk by driving drunk and confronting the officer after a near-collision.
The boy was shot in the knee by Officer Frank White, who fired at Silva’s car. He shot Silva twice in the arm.
White told investigators Silva behaved aggressively. Witnesses said Silva tailgated White to an Oceanside parking lot.
Silva also pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor counts including drunken driving, driving on a suspended license and possessing marijuana.
The 27-year-old faces up to six years in prison if convicted.
