Since 1941, there has been a ritual going on at University of Texas (UT) called the horns hex rally. It was, so the legend goes, started when a palm reader who was asked by students to put a curse on an opposing team. A person of many talents there. Since then, this has become a university tradition. As seen on the Austin American Statesman site:
"Texas' Limas Sweed, center, and teammates Quan Cosby, left, and Ryan Palmer join fans on the steps of UT's Main Building on Monday for the ritual. The rally was started in 1941 by a palm reader who was asked by students to place a curse on A&M and end a losing streak at College Station. UT won the game, and the rally stuck."
There are people who would say it is just nothing there, whatever no Satanic inspired creation, move along please. To that end I wrote this (http://warofillusions.wordpress.com/2008/05/16/horn-hex-rally-satanic-origin-of-the-ut-hook-em-horns/), and put the Statesman link in there too. Plus you can see Obama flashing the handsign.
