I am not American.
I always grew up thinking the USA was hugh and powerfull where it always looked cool and at some point i wanted to be there living how they do.
They had the best Army the fastest planes the coolest tanks and guns.
But even with all that you look at Iraq now and it's a mess.
I was let down in my thinking of what they was, it's only now i see the hidden workings and it makes me numb to think they could now consider fighting a new war when in reality they are not gaining ground in iraq that has only rebals fighting back, am i the only one that see's this. Where is the power of the USA and there Eagle that quickly swoops down and takes the prey?
Just becouse they have Nukes in there arsnal, gives no right to order or pass jugdement on another country. What have they to gain from this, Why are they not allowed nukeculler power or even allowed to posses a weapon for there saftey just like other countries have them for that sole purpose. Why are we not first disarming our own mass destruction weapons instead of making more, it's always a case of they have um so we have them.
Iran is no iraq, they have a well capable army. they have command, they have missles capable of taking out any warship they place in there waters, there not a bunch of amatures. you have only to google there capable power and it doesn't take long to undertand that.

why are Americans standing for this and why are they not ralleying there goverment shouting and yelling that this has gone on far to long, do they not see and ask the question "why does it have to be USA to once again go into battle, and to go into battle for what cost"?

That could be one reason. Another is to secure access to oil. It's frustrating to not know the real reason why the dollar is falling. I hope Ron Paul will explain that in his new book. And it's easy to check if the explanation is good or not. If I grok it, then it's a good explanation.

That isn't the case. Americans, except the 3 million latent psychopathic Christian fundies, are massively opposed to the current war, nevermind creating another one. Had people not mobilised as they have, which hasn't been mentioned on the news, Cheney would have attacked Iran years ago.
People are waking up to their game, even the crazy Fundies.
It's frustrating to not know the real reason why the dollar is falling. I hope Ron Paul will explain that in his new book.
