I heard the Vocalist from Primordial which is an Irish Black Metal Folk band talking about it. I have tried to check it out here in the states, but havent had much luck.

Yeah some of the camera work made me feel sick, but I thought it was a fair representation of what its like to go tripping.

Yeah it seems open air is the way to go for tripping balls. I have never taken shrooms outdoors, just stepped outside for a couple minutes. With the climate here in Holland it's not a very pleasant idea to stay out all night. But then there are other advantages about living here ;)
Taking shrooms in the forest would seem to be quite challenging, but it can't possibly get as bad as in that movie Shrooms...!!! Talk about dark!
(If you are in the US and you want to see this movie, just drop me a pm and I will be happy to ship you a copy -we can work something out for the shipping)

Can you buy shrooms in Holland?
I know that you can get the best weed known to man, but I cant remember if shrooms are decriminalised there. Any ideas?

Yes, up to now you still can.
Fresh mushrooms are still legal and you can buy them both by mailorder and in smartshops. I have bought them for friends in the US. The philospher's stones in particular are recommended and stay fresh for about 4-6 weeks.
However, a ban was proposed last year November after a very public suicide by a French minor that the parents say was mushroom-induced. This has never been proven though. It was a classic situation of 'Something must be done about it!'.
The intention to ban mushrooms was met with a lot of protest and ridicule and the present government does not talk about it any more, although they have never withdrawn their original intention to ban them.

Some people would call Shrooms the movie "typical Hollywood disinfo" to scare people away from mushrooms -except it isn't a Hollywood movie: this one received funding from the EU.
The mayhem in Shrooms The Movie mainly comes about because one of the girls mistakenly takes a "deaths' head fungi" thinking it's a magic mushroom- it's a non-Psilocybe shroom with a black 'nipple' on its cap that's supposed to open the 'portal to another dimension" among other things. I don't know if that one even exists or if they invented it for the movie.
In my experience mushroom trips are very gentle, peaceful and above all full of laughter. But it does seem to depend on the mood you're in, the people you're with and the environment you're at.

The Deaths' Head mushroom does not seem to exist in reality, but the Death Cap Mushroom does! Its scientific name is Aminita phalloides, and it doesn't look like a Psilocybe mushroom at all.
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=7251327
Recently, Pringle did some fancy detective work with old books and newfangled DNA techniques to prove that the death cap mushroom is actually an invader from Europe. It was inadvertently brought here on the roots of imported trees many decades ago. Now that it's spreading like crazy, Pringle is trying to figure out what native species it might be crowding out in the process. Truth be told, scientists think they haven't even identified 95 percent of the fungi in the world, let alone what's growing in California.

Just what we need. More bad press about psychotropic mushrooms.
The death's head in the movie is presumably modeled on Amanita phalloides, called both the death cap and the death's head mushroom. There is no doubt that this is one of the most poisonous of all known mushrooms; in fact it is probably the species involved in the majority of human deaths from mushroom poisoning. Poisoning by Amanita phalloides is characterized by a delay of between 6 and 24 hours from the time of ingestion to the onset of symptoms. During this time, the cells of the kidneys and liver are being attacked. There is no antidote. Mortality is between 10 and 15 percent. Despite what the movie says — "According to the ancient Irish druids, these are like a portal to another dimension" — there is no reason to believe that this mushroom is hallucinogenic in any way.

true.
i dont think the NWO want people to take shrooms,
cause it often helps people to learn to think outside the box.

Yes. Although on the other hand I would to stress that shrooms aren't party drugs, like some tourists seem to think. Respect the shrooms. It is not the kind of thing you should take to top off your 6 or 7 pints.....

Thanks for the warning however I am well aware of the respect the shrooms need - not to be taken lightly. Also I don't drink alcohol so that's never in the equation anyway.

"this one received funding from the EU."- I BET it did!
Still back to what hicks said: Isn't it a bit paranoid to make things that grow naturally ILLEGUAL??
They open your mind; as with some orther drugs. Yet magic mushrooms seem to be the most spiritually beneficial if used respectfully.

Mr. Hicks was right on there......although there are some things that can be harmful if used the wrong way like most things.
I will say that the last experience I had with Mushrooms was one of the best experiences of my life. I base this in that I must of gotten shrooms that were really good ones.
Me and my girlfriend at the time had came across some and maybe I got the most of them I don't remember, but I remember being fully entranced and tripping more so than the rest of the 3 people I was with. I ended up looking at the night sky for quite a while as the sky was the most magnificent thing there was. The moon, the clouds, everything was just incredible. Then as me and my girlfriend were laying in the living room and everything in existence at the time was just incredible and just so alive. It was almost as if energy was just flowing all around me and allowed me to connect with all of it simultaneously. Everyone else did not seem to be as high as I was, and I think they probably got a bit annoyed with me, in which I am sure I really didn't care because it was as if there was no bad feelings of anything.....except for the crackhead neighbors across the yard beyond the fence who seemed to be doing something in their garage all fucking night and I kept thinking they were going to fuck up my trip hahhaa.
One of the best things was how the walls looked and how I came across the word Guam. Don't know from where it came, but I decided it to be the coolest fucking word ever for some reason. The way it was said just felt phenomenal. I would highly recommend experimenting with the word Guam, if you find your self tripping on Shrooms.
Propaganda , a complete load of rubbish , dont go out and camp in nature something bad might happen and while your about it dont take any naturally occurring mind expanding substances because you just might end up getting slaughtered just a little bit more than you imagined .Not a very good horror either , the obvious message just made it a disappointment for me .How about one set in a polling booth where putting an X beside a name causes wars great and small to be fought throughout the world in the name of freedom that would be scary , oh no wait a minute

Trip out (2005) is another example of a shroom-scare movie. This one however seems to have a good plot. If anyone has a DL link for this one let me know.

Many times I took shrooms it was like I was heaven not hell! I've seen this film advertised and I thought it was an instant downer on the experience. Wouldn't waste my time watching dross like this!

Anyone seen the movie Shrooms, set in Northern Ireland?
I just went into the Supermarket and they are selling the DVD in the New Year reductions, I wouldn't bother watching it personally. Why do they have to have the negative spin on it, why don't they have something uplifting instead of a downer?
