Gravestones

Ever notice that certain gravestones are obelisks? Also, I've seen some big ones that at the top come up to a point like the pyramid.

I wonder if all them ppl were Freemasons and such? I haven't went out and looked at the graves at the local smalltown cemetary here, just drove by. Maybe I should go out and look?

I've been thinking the same thing for a while myself, as I pass a graveyard on my way to university everyday, which has obelisks.
