Radical Christians Against Madonna Concert in Moscow
http://mosnews.com/files/17065/m5mn.jpg
Some 200 people of Orthodox Christian and nationalist forces have gathered at Pushkin Square in downtown Moscow for a demonstration against Madonna’s forthcoming Moscow show.
Participants were holding banners and orthodox flags with large crucifixes placed in the center, Interfax said. After the speeches were over, a huge poster with Madonna’s face was triumphantly torn into pieces.
“We declare a new Holy Inquisition that will fight against the sacrilege of crosses, icons, Russian Orthodox symbols, including during Madonna’s show. The singer is an advocate of Kabbalah,” chairman of the Union of Orthodox flag-bearers Leonid Simonovich-Nikshich said.
The main goal of the inquisition will be “to fight against slander, rather than to kill people,” he said.
The Orthodox community will “do everything possible to prevent Madonna’s concert from taking place,” he said.
Previous union actions, including the burning of books by author of historical fiction Eduard Radzinsky and protests against two modernist ballet shows were “of great spiritual success,” he said.
Representatives of Russian nationalist organizations earlier asked the authorities to ban Madonna from staging an act whereby the singer mimics the crucifixion during the concert.
Meanwhile, Tuesday will see the delivery of the first part of Madonna’s equipment by trucks from Hanover, Germany, to Moscow. Madonna’s show is scheduled to take place at Luzhniki stadium on September 12. Some 53,000-54,000 are expected to attend the concert, promoters said.

Hello, Jagalman.
I am sorry to say but you have NO idea what you are talking about.
However, maybe what you are doing is just manipulating the members of this forum knowing their ignorance in Russia's culture.
In fact, the skull and bones "logo" was used in Russian army since the end of the 18-th century, way before the Yale university club.

Please elaborate. What was the origin of this logo within the Russian Army?

The rise of the Right in Russia is a well documented phenomenon. Not a huge surprise.

Hello, tinmenace.
I guess I can elaborate...
But only if there will be a promise not to manipulate the information in the future Icke books the same way Jagalman did.
OK?

There is no so-called "Right" in Russia.
There are, however, Russian patriots (aka Right) and Western (Illuminati) agents like Mikhail Khodorkovsky (aka Left)....

I take it you refer to those skinhead "patriots" who like bludgeoning "foreign" looking people to death.

I don't "refer to those skinhead "patriots" who like bludgeoning "foreign" looking people to death".
I refer to those who restore Russia's culture, history and tradition which was destroyed by the Illuminati agents who came to power in 1917.
I understand that in the reports from Russia by CNN and BBC "news" people see nothing but some sort of "skinheads", cold weather and KGB, and become victims of the Illuminati propaganda, and I think you are one of them.

Good photo. Since I know nothing about the Russian Army and their regalia, I was hoping you'd do more than post a photo. I mean, I'd like to know whom in the Russian army wore these hats (?), the significance of the skull and bones and also the silver snake like rim. Do they still wear it, and if not why was it discontinued and what replaced it?
That's kinda what I meant when I asked you to elaborate.

First of all, mosnews.com is NOT a Russian site. If they write about Russia and call their publication "Moscow News" it doesn't mean that they are a voice of Russia. They even advertise "Girls Gone Wild" tapes...
To get the real picture go to http://en.rian.ru :)
Second...
We are talking about Russia's patriots. Correct?
But it looks like you are not willing to listen to what I say, but instead you wish to insist on your point of view.
To make your point you claim that "According to this, Russia has the most skinheads in the world". OK....
But did you actually look at the picture? :)
Why is this "skinhead" has so much hair :D and why is there a communist logo on his scarf? :D :D
