The Matrix Movie..Why is it so hard to find??

My girlfriend, who has never seen the matrix wanted to see it after hearing me talking about it. So we run to Wal-Mart to grab a copy just to find out they don't sell it! The Wal-Mart Supercenter doesn't sell it!! I have been trying to find it for a couple weeks now too... After asking the sales clerk he told me that they sent them back! Why would they send movies back? If they aren't selling they just toss them into the $5.00 bin and they are gone in a few days...


So, then we head over to Meijer, lo and behold, no Matrix. Blockbuster said there was some in the system but we couldn't find one..


I know I will be able to find a copy but could they be pulling The Matrix and other movies off the shelfs' of department stores? Are they really that desperate?! Kinda looks like it.

If you really cant find it anywhere Download it off xbox live or something like apple tv, or ebay if you want to fork out for it.... Or just download it off the torrents for free ;)

Funny...I'm watching it right now. In fact, I've watched it like 10 times in the past week because it's been every other movie on the AMC channel. It's getting annoying.

I download movies using a program called mIRC but it's somewhat weird to use. You'll have to know how to set it up so it doesn't get blocked in your firewall and stuff. There's also a website called www.packetnews.com that lets you search for a movie and then open the program to the server that's hosting it with the command already copied. You just need to paste it.

It's going to be on yet again on the AMC channel. It's on now and they are at the oracle, after the movie is over Die Hard is on, then The Matrix is on again.

VHS MATRIX MOVIE

I bought the matrix movie as VHS, and have seen it hundreds of times.
Have not tried obtaining it in DVD, but I am sure you can find it.
About downloading it, don't know about that.
I truly believe that the1st Matrix movie is the one with more content,the 2nd and 3rd Matrix movie were entertaining , but do not question reality as the 1stmovie.
After they finished filming and having the 1st MATRIX movie out, the Twin Towers event
happened in 2001;so they felt they could not continue, after hearing all the "terrorist talk"

Bush's phrase "You are either with us or with the terrorists" is taken from MATRIX 1,
where Neo is taken by Morpheus where Neo sees the girl wiith "the red dress", who is an agent, and Morpheus tells Neo: "You are either with us, or you are one of them", pointing at agent Smith holding a gun ready to shoot, WHO HAS CHANGED FORMS..(from the girl in red to an agent)

I have seen the MATRIX 1 MOVIE MANY TIMES , TRANSLATED TO SPANISH,(doubled) in Chile.I am sure many people have recorded it.TV directors don't truly understand it, simply see it as a good movie. Best of luck in your search.

Easy to find. Common title. You can buy a new copy in VHS or DVD at half.com for 75cents + shipping. The reason WalMart sent the movie back is because it was not a good seller any more. -- every one has seen it about 10x. (or at least most everyone).

One of the best trilogy had seen ever... some people could say its a remake of something but the real message is there for the one who catch between the lines...

Its also nice with all the symbolism in it and names. Seraph, Zion, Nebucanezzar (or however its spelt) and it is simply everywhere. Even more to find if these are researched as well.

I like how they have the trainstation, which seems it is the afterlife of the AIs as I understood it. Where they go to be renewed in some way or find another place to be.

One thing that caught me by surprise was the Merovingian. I heard the name and was like "wow, I remember David Icke talking about that Bloodline" and then I heard that he was speaking in a french accent:eek:

I watched this movie years ago and thought it was simply a good science fiction movie :o

Recently, I set my DVR to record it, plus the 2nd one (Haven't seen the 3rd one yet) and am now watching it with quite a different perspective than I did the first time.

It's really quite interesting to catch so much more in the movie than I did the first time :)

I can definately say that my experience with the Matrix movie was that way as well. When I first saw it, I was just like "wow, what a good sci fi movie". Now, my perspective it totally different.

Very profound movie.
