Anyone on this forum who is into goa / psy-trance? This music has changed my life since I have been to my first outdoor goa party about two years ago.
Just wanted to share one of the greatest goa albums I have ever heard:

Absolutely mate! Where do you think I got my user name?

I got into Goa big time back in the mid-nineties with the likes of TIP, Total Eclipse, Doof, Hallucinogen and the like and never looked back. I used to DJ the stuff pretty heavily back into 2001/2002. Moved to Goa in 2003 for a couple of years :)

I've been to some wicked parties but my fave had to be in an underground warehouse on the banks of Thames right next to London Bridge. It was Logic Bomb as the main act with Raja Ram as support. I even got to hang out with Raj and he is one cool dude.

Another amazing gem:

"After the great success of the Trip Of The Luna King EP, New Born (Tom Rarin) returns with another mesmerizing set of tunes written without concern for commercial conventions. In The Middle Of The Desert continues the tradition of deeply hypnotic downtempo Goa trance exemplified by Voodoof’s Thru (from TIP Orange) and MFG’s Mystic Dawn (from The Prophecy). This is followed by The Observer, a captivating epic that features nearly 24 minutes of swirling melodies and gently pulsating trance rhythms. Facets of The Muses Rapt seems to shine through in certain moments; New Born has channelled something of Juan Verdera’s emotional sensitivity in writing this piece. The Observer EP is bound to enthral listeners attuned to the forgotten lore of the old school masters."

I love goa/psy trance. Started mostly liking trance when I first got into electronica (and raves) in the late 90s, but I gradually went towards the whole goa/psy section. I definitely like it a lot. It is easily my favorite genre of the many there is within electronic music.

I don't have too many goa/psy cds or whatnot as I lost a lot when my comp crashed a while back, but I do like to listen to digitally imported internet radio at www.di.fm. Not trying to advertise them, just noticed them while playing a game of Team Fortress 2 (I know, random eh?) and been listening to it ever since.

I definitely need to get myself some good goa/psy albums, because I absolutely love the music.
