Boyd Bushman, an engineer and inventor at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., the nation's largest aerospace company, has sued his employer, claiming that the company, directed by the government, suppressed an invention that he believes has implications as a portable and inexpensive way of generating energy. Lockheed has had the suit removed to federal court. The complaint asserts that the value of Mr. Bushman's 20% revenue profit share has been substantially reduced by the failure to promote the concept. The patent at issue, U.S. Patent No. 5,384,802, describes a way of turning a jet engine into a powerful laser weapon. According to military technology expert John Pike of GlobalSecurity.org, the U.S. Air Force recently studied the utility of lightweight laser-weapon-equipped aircraft. Lockheed declined to comment. Mr. Bushman's attorney is B. Buzz Deitchman of Dallas' Law Office of B. Buzz Deitchman. Counsel for Lockheed is Herbert J. Hammond of Dallas' Thompson & Knight. A spokeswoman for the aeronautics company said that the engineer's claim is groundless. Bushman v. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., No. 4:01cv498 (N.D. Texas June 15, 2001).

When an electric motor rotates a vertical column, supported by a bearing at the center of the hub which is attached to the top and bottom of the sphere, the metal sphere rotating around the magnetic coils causes a continuous buildup of electric charge on the sphere and magnetic field, which heats and excites the rubidium gas in the tube so it interacts with the phosphor layer to produce light which is slowed down by the hot rubidium gas; causing a radial Einstein time change over distance, causing increased centrifugal force radially, causing acceleration of sphere rotation, resulting in more mechanical energy than needed to produce the slowed light by the previously mentioned process, with excess energy turning the electric motor as a generator to charge the battery.

2) The present invention relates in general to craft propelled by magnetohydrodynamic effects and methods of propulsion and control thereof, and more particularly to heavier-than-air craft which are propelled by interaction of magnetic fields upon electrically conductive fluids such as plasma, surrounding the craft.

3) The present invention relates to conversion of energy, and in particular to the use of electrical potentials for producing forces to cause motion of a structure by direct operation of electric fields, thus providing a thrust sufficient for propelling a vehicle.

There were two interesting letters in the Hendersonville Times-News during December that caused me to wonder if now would be a good time to write the column I promised some time ago about my encounter with a UFO.

The second letter said that the 25 percent of Americans who believe in the existence of UFOs have a poor understanding of science and probably a lower IQ than most of the other 75 percent in our country.

At the risk of putting myself in the dumb part of the population, at least in that person's eyes, I would like to tell you a story.

When I left the Navy at the end of World War II, I went to college. I had been interested in science since grade school, so I began working on a degree in physics.

Our college had about 1,600 students so the number of people working on a physics degree varied from six to eight students at any one time.

There were three World War II students in that group -- an Army man, a German man who had spent his high school in service at an anti-aircraft gun in Berlin and me, a Navy guy. The three of us were a little older than the others there, so we kind of hung out together.

When the stories began to come out about UFOs, all of us began talking about what kind of propulsion system could do everything being said about the craft. I don't think any of us had any interest in any other part of the story, just the system being used.

The Army guy was a little older than the rest of us because he had some college before the war and he finished the first in our group.

He got a job offer at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and went for an interview. This was in about 1949 or 1950.

When he came back to school, he was really excited about the job and started to tell me about it.

He said I was the only one he was telling, but that they had a saucer that he was going to be working on and they were trying to find out how it operated. I believe that was the first time I ever heard the term retro-engineering.

He made me promise not to tell anyone else and until now I haven't broken my word. He is dead now, so I see no reason not to talk about it.

The second person who told me about seeing a saucer was my father. He was the biggest skeptic I ever knew, a World War I Marine and a drill sergeant during 1916 to 1922, a policeman and a World War II Army captain. He had a job after the war in civil service for the Army.

He was on a trip to White Sands in the 1950s and when he came back from that trip he was a UFO believer.

He told me he was having a meal with some officers when the air raid alarm went off at White Sands. They all ran outside and he said there was a disc in the sky over the base. He said some fighter planes came toward the disc and he kept saying the same thing over and over, "nothing could move that fast." He said the disc left the planes alone in the sky.

The last person on my list is me. In the 1950s, I was hunting near the Mississippi River in Louisiana when it started to get dark.

I was walking to my car. I had stopped to light a cigarette when I heard a noise like a chopper makes when its blades are on idle. It came toward me.

There was no moon but the sky was full of stars. I could see something blanking out the stars and it came and stopped directly over me.

The noise was very loud and the stars were blotted out in a large section of the sky over my head. I would guess about a 45 degree angle on each side of me.

There was no wind with the sound. After about the longest minute in my life, the object moved across the river to the Baton Rouge side.

Like dad said, "Nothing could move that fast." I guess I am in that dumb 25 percent.

right on! I have the cathie book harmonic 371244.

also into coral castle stuff, esp. ed's book 'magnetic current' which discloses what 'sweet sixteen' means, he may have been seen as a strange man but he pretty much puts it out there in his books, including what 'sweet sixteen' is. imo anyway. Check out John DePew's Equilibrius at www.coralcastlecode.com its pretty neat. Im in the middle of reading Magnetic Current, and theres lots of small simple experiments, havent done any yet but probably anyone interested enough could do them, I think.

also Ive started reading a book by D. H. Childress 'antigravity and the world grid' or a book w/similar title, where he mentions 20 vortices on cancer/capricorn tropics, not only 10, but he adds 10 more in between, to make 20, which I thought peculiar. Also he mentions in it an idea of bermuda triangle, being a warp that pushes things out into space, and claims nasa knows about it! [could not find any nasa papers on that]. May be misquoting but there was the idea that at certain such places a strong antigrav push out to space exists.
