it once again became prominent in my thoughts, how misdirected we are by the mainstream media's excessive focus on minor stories, while they maintain complete media blackout on the real big stories going on now.

one particular issue that got raised in a chat discussion on this, was how many nations are getting how many bombs dropped on it from which other nations.

a "complete" table, listing how many bombs each nation drops on other nations, and how many bombs each nation has dropped on it from other nations, would be awesome to see, and cut through the fuss about whatever latest story is getting trumped up as the only thing going on in the world worth reporting on.

does anyone know where we could get such figures?

it would be great to see such figures included in something like [url=http://www.gapminder.org/world/]gapminder[/gapminder] too.

anyone got any ideas beyond carry on tussling with rtfg.net for the figures?

p.s.
of course, it's not healthy for "things you dont want" to be the focus of your attention all the time, otherwise you're just likely to keep dragging more of that into reality. but ignoring it's going on isnt helping either, and i think this is one of those things we can "watch" into non-existance. the much lauded people power ideals of democracy is not /entirely/ broken yet (i hope), and we can still exert some influence on our pseudo-elected plutocratic oligarchy if there are enough of us who individually decide not to stand for the crap anymore. maybe if we can stop the drones bombing other nations, we can also stop the chemtrails (*ahem* sorry, i mean the official term "geo-engineering weather control experiments" *coughcough*). :/
