You too eh. Just thought the same thing myself. You know 20 years ago we would all be nodding our heads at "evil Russia". Personally, I think the political USA is just as if not more corrupt than political Russia. The hypocrisy is breathtaking isn't it? I laughed when the Western "news" berated Russian media for supporting Putin only etc. Oh the irony. American news is easily the most controlled in the world (having seen it first hand in almost disbelief on a trip to New York 2 years ago).

I don't know who has won the Republican presidential candidacy (has it been decided yet?) but I bet you a million dollars that Romney will get it and they will say that Ron Paul came a close second. My feeling is that Ron Paul won by a landslide, but they'll fudge it like I said above. It's the way third-world countries roll. A third-world country which America is not long off being.

I think they've always fudged it a little but nothing to the extent as now because the brainwashing isn't as effective as pre-internet.

Hey Adam, I've only just fully realized this myself. I mean, I always knew it but I was like a schizo - complaining about it one minute and then participating in their charade the next.

Now, I am fully cold turkey. However, I'm still going to the voting booth but to not to put a tick in any of their preconceived boxes. Instead I'm going to bring a black marker pen and write something like this on the voting sheet they give me:

"I vote for the dissolution of government, including the European Union.
I vote for the dissolution of all bureaucrats and politicians.
I vote for the end of the state and statutory law.
I vote an end to the state police, the state judiciary and its prison system.
I vote for the abolition of all central banks in the world.
I vote for the abolition of institutionalized debt.
I vote for the end of all regulatory agencies and quangos including the FDA, AMA, BDA, BMA and all professional councils (who run nothing but protection rackets).
I vote for the abolition of tax and the military and all secret service agencies.
I vote for the end of the corporate status of companies.

I vote for the end of the new world order, regulatory bureaucracy and fascism.

Dumb example here. Let's say you mean to open up a new business venture. Like a restaurant for example. You are looking for a nice sign that fits your vision of the restaurant. Pretend you have already hired your entire staff, you even have a bathroom attendant.

Would it be wise to have this entire staff equally vote on which sign suits the restaurant best? Maybe the bathroom attendant is a really wise and artistic fellow whose opinion should not be ignored when it comes to the restaurant's sign. But maybe much like the waitresses he is just there for a pay check. You see what I am saying?

The average American had absolutely no idea how the government functions so why should they have any say in who is to run it? Partisan issues are a joke. Essentially folks are voting for the candidate who has the same favorite color as theirs. That's not much of an exaggeration.

Democracy is easily corruptible as we have already seen via lobbies and corporations. In all honesty, a monarchy under something like an emperor would be preferable. A powerful and intelligent dictator who doesn't give two shits about corporate interests and lobbies.

Some folks believe that Gaddafi was just such a ruler. Others believe that Hitler was such a ruler. Are they wrong? Are you wrong? In this world full of lies, how are we to know what is true or not?

I don't think that democracy is fake as such. There two issues that i see.

one. In any democracy the biggest parties are going to be the ones that encompass the most voters, so the two biggest parties are going to have similar polices in a lot of areas. Any party that has specific issues , like a green party is not going to have the most voters as they push the specific issue ahead of anything else.

two. Capitalism by nature is exploitive. In order to compete you need to make the best quality goods at the cheapest price. In order to do this you need cheep labor and cheep resources. Not only that but in order for an industry, say car manufacturing, to be successful the customers also need access to cheep fuel. This economic situation again will lead different parties to adopt similar foreign policies.

The majority Voters in the west only vote for parties who promise to increase or at least maintain their standard of living. Add to that the only about half the people who can vote actually vote and there is also the issue of more people can potentially vote against (at least in the uk) a winning candidate than for.

Capitalism is based on greed and exploitation. In theory yes any one can become a millionaire or work their way up a corporation and that is the promise and its accepted that this is at others expense, those who play the game right win those who do not lose. The reality is that this system benefits a small proportion of the population, who are intent on accumulating money and resources. The more money that is accumulated the less there is in circulation. fe the bank bail outs went to balance the banks books, if that money was actually spent on something it would restart the economy. I read some economist who said that in recession a country should employ people to dig holes even if there is no need, that they spend money in shops, shops hire/pay wages and the economy gets moving.

enough of my rant in summery i believe capitalism is corrupt and any political system built around that is a symptom.

There is no such thing as democracy as long as an unelected cabal of organized criminals controls the money supply via the foreign private bank called the Federal Reserve (as Federal as FedEX), Wall Street, and all those various foreign policy and financial think thanks and fraternal organizations.

These banks lend 'their' money at interest. It's not backed by anything except so-called collateral which in comparison to what the money represents is worthless. Criminals print the money and they basically sell it to the US treasury. The debt can never be paid back because this is the same cabal all over the world doing the same thing. An illusion, a pyramid scheme. We should identify each and every one of them and bring out the guillotine.
