Pluto in Sagittarius (1995-2008) began to undermine, reveal and transform many of the old beliefs and philosophical agreements that have enslaved human consciousness for a very long time. Pluto in Capricorn will break down and transform the authorities and institutions that have held a vested interest in controlling humanity with those old paradigms. During the phase of Pluto in Capricorn, a grand re-structuring and redistribution of wealth and power on the planet is inevitable.
From The Ultimate Game of All by George Ward (The Pleiadian Times - Winter Solstice Issue 2007)
Today at 7:44 PM pacific time, Pluto moves (http://spiritual-nature.com/mambo/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=40&topic=436.0) into the sign of Capricorn!
:):):):):)
An astrological event that can't be over-hyped is happening today -- Pluto's ingress into Capricorn. Humanity's time for a reality check. It coincides with ephemeral bubbles bursting, and questions about the structural soundness of the economy in general. The environmental situation grows more urgent, even as individuals and corporations continue the relentless pursuit of profit at all costs.
Capricorn's dark side is ruthless ambition and hoarding of resources. Heaving under the strain, the planet Earth herself will mirror Pluto's wrath toward status quo systems that have become unsustainable. At the same time, we'll likely see more consolidation of wealth, and fortresses built to sustain a lopsided system that keeps much of the world in a state of need. There are already hints of the breakdowns to come for governments and global commerce. And eventually Pluto's deathgrip will wrap around established ways of doing business, with a chance to create something new in its place.
The last time Pluto moved into Capricorn was in 1778, a period when old structures of concentrated power and wealth were cast off, in favor of the shared model of democracy. Other astrologers have mentioned a sense of anticipation, even excitement, about the future. The planets in Aquarius right now nurture the revolutionary spirit, and belief that things can change for the better. It's a collective transition, but also one with the power to fix us fiercely to our own highest goals.

After 12+ years in Sagittarius, Pluto will be moving into the sign of Capricorn.on January 25th, at about 8:35 pm PST. I am sure many astrologers, myself included, will be watching this upcoming event with great interest.
A Bit about Pluto.
Although Pluto has been demoted to dwarf status, astrologically its energy still packs a punch that is tough to deal with. Although considered a collective energy, on a personal level the house placement of Pluto in our astrological chart shows in the area where we need to experience the greatest growth -- where we seem to have intense resistance to something that will ultimately further our evolutionary process.
Pluto problems are usually rooted deep in the soul, and take time to get to, at a core level. When someone is about about to embark on a Plutonian transit event, they will never be the same again.
Collectively speaking, looking at Pluto in any given sign -- and there are millions born under each particular sign, hence the “generational” application here -- will show us what types of issues the human race will have to deal with. When Pluto went through the sign of Scorpio, the issues pertinent to that sign, such as The AIDS virus, as well as domestic violence, forced us collectively deal with death, dying, sexuality and abuse.
Pluto was at the last degree/minutes of Scorpio when the world witnessed the cataclysmic damage done to Kobe, Japan from that massive earthquake on January 17, 1995 - only twelve hours before Pluto went into Sagittarius. Pluto in Scorpio managed to get one last kick, before showing us the coming attractions for Pluto in Sagittarius. Sagittarius is about natural law, as well as the legal system, and during the last 14 years, we’ve had to come to terms with how we’ve misused our natural resources, as well as judicial power.
Our legal system soon entered the spotlight, with the first day of the O.J. Simpson trial only a few days later, on January 24. 1995 (O.J’s south node, by the way, is at 00 Sagittarius). He was the poster child for the Pluto in Sagittarius experience. During this trial, our legal system got a full Plutonian examination, up close and personal. And we also saw what a lot of money could buy. In the face of a lot of evidence of O.J’s guilt, he was set free.
Capricorn is pretty pragmatic and goal-oriented. Structures that are formed to serve the many, and the power at the top of those structures are great Capricornian images. There are some signs that Pluto’s arrival in Capricorn is upon us already. Because Capricorn is opposite to Cancer and Cancer is the home, the first big entry into the Pluto in Capricorn arena are the emerging problems in the U.S. mortgage market, which in turn is having, and will continue to have a major impact on the global economy.
Sometimes the structures must fail, before they are rebuilt.
Like what happened with Kobe, there may be a major world event just before Pluto’s move into Capricorn. And perhaps to complicate matters, Pluto will reach the opposition to America's Venus in about one year’s time. This will likely cause a secondary impact in the financial sectors. Venus rules our money, and how we as individuals handle it. To me, it's also money that is for pleasure, i.e., money that one can affordably lose. This will be of major significance to the retail industry. Expendable income for extras will likely be curtailed during that transit.
The US chart has its Sun placement at 12 degrees of Cancer, which is the opposite sign to Capricorn. Even though Pluto’s opposition to America's Sun doesn’t come until 2014, there will be a noticeable shift in the wind for this country. I am sure we will have to deal with our use/abuse of power in other countries.
We will require new leadership.to build those new structures that will endure. With our country about to elect a new leader, seeing this election through Pluto in Capricorn eyes will very likely constitute a massive shift in leadership for this country. The potential of electing an African-American, or a woman looms in the distance -- a completely new type of president. As Pluto gets its feet wet in Capricorn, this election will take on added significance in the total framework of American history.
The next 14 years will be of major signficance to the role the U.S. takes in the world -- whether or not it is positive or negative will be up to the new powers that be. Lets hope they take an inclusive stance, rather than exclusive one, with the rest of our world. Steven Forrest said in his Book of Pluto that Pluto in Capricorn will demand that we, as a species, make a commitment to building something that will endure. It starts with Pluto into Capricorn.

Hi tinmenace,
Great post!!!........I think all the financial uncertainty going on around the world at the moment is connected with this event, I think "The Powers That Be" are trying to create fear and panic among the people to counteract the positive effects that Pluto will have on us......all this financial uncertainty is nothing but behind the scenes manipulation, we need to realize this and stay out of fear......
I think the days ahead will be very interesting in more ways than one........:)

Hooray for Pluto in Capricorn!!!
Pluto in Capricorn
After mopping up in moral Sagittarius for some 13 years, as well as hooking up with the galactic center, Pluto is now ready to go through Capricorn and tackle big buisness, government, and politics. Pluto takes its first dip into this sign at 3:45 AM GMT, on January 26, 2008, where it will test the waters, before retrograding back into Sag six months later on June 14, 3:47 AM GMT(obviously to take care of unfinished buisness). Then on November 27, 2008 at 2:06 AM GMT Pluto moves into Capricorn permanently(a favourite Plutonian word) untill the spring of 2023.
With an orbit of 248 years, and varying stay of 11 to 32 years per zodiac sign, Pluto doesn't change signs often in our lifetimes so let's take a look at what this planet's move into the tenth sign of the zodiac portends.
Small but powerful Pluto, ruler of intense Scorpio, dredges up the dirt in a major way no matter where it is transiting. In Sagittarius(1995-2008) it exposed religion, ideology, and morality for what it reallty is and gave us a new sense of vision or direction. It also changed our view of travel and danger from abroad. Of course the big event here was terrorism(Pluto) and the whole 9/11 saga. Pluto in Sag also changed and expanded our view of our solar system and beyond with the burgeoning discovery of new planets, stars, and galaxies.
In Capricorn(2008-2024), Pluto will focus on all the structural aspects of our world and society, from buisness and government or politics to the way we deal with time, space, career direction, and life purpose.
Politically, it will dig up the dirt on nations, groups, or individuals who have been less than forthcoming on their policies or activities and mete out their fate or punishment. Many governments or buisnesses and their leaders will be brought to account and be eliminated or replaced if need be. If a deep economic recession or even depression is due it will certainly occur during Pluto's transit through Capricorn.
The United States has natal Pluto at 27°34' Capricorn so it is due for a Pluto return which means it will either die or be completely transformed in some way. The United States, Canada, and other Sun in Cancer nations will have a challenging opposition aspect from Pluto during its transit through Capricorn so that they will be forced to become more co-operative internationally if they wish to survive. The USA in particular will be hit early with Venus at 2°21' Cancer and with three other planets following. This Pluto transit may also signify the empowerment of World Government.
On a more local level, buildings, roadways, pipelines, and infrastructure, will come under intense scrutiny, as this, more than any other time, is when they may collapse or require extensive repair. This will lead to entirely new methods of building and maintenance. Earthquakes and other underground disruptions may also increase in frequency and magnitude. Expeditions deep inside the earth will be planned and undertaken and we may unearth or discover some truly fantastic finds. Rare gems and minerals will be very prized or sought after, especialy diamonds and rubies.
On a personal level, anyone in tune with the Pluto energy will seek to become more organized, efficient, or economical in their lives. Sun in Scorpio natives, or those with Scorpio rising or some other key planet in this sign will experience a new sixteen-year period of restructuring and reorganization in their lives, getting rid of what is no longer useful or necessary, and keeping or incorporating what is. This can involve their job or career, personal posessions, or even relationships.
Perhaps hardest hit of all will be Sun in Capricorn natives, and to a lesser extent Sun in Virgos and Taurus. The early degrees of these signs will feel it first. Their will be intense pressure on them to make huge changes in their lives which may seem painful at first but which will be for the best. If they do not make the necessary changes they will probably suffer serious setbacks. The other cardinal Sun signs will also go through some heavy changes or restructuring.
Pluto in Capricorn will also revolutionize the skin, hair, and bone industry, as this it what Capricorn rules biologically. Perhaps cures will be discovered for rejeuvenating the skin, restoring hair, or regenerating bone. Even the aging process may fimally be understood and slowed, halted, or even reversed. Regeneration through fasting will become more popular and accepted.
Lastly, our sense of time and space will change. Miniturization will continue to progress untill we can fit huge amounts of data into ridiculously small spaces, and socially we may simply learn to make the most of our living spaces and environments. New time modes or ways of counting and neasuring may be established. The whole concept of time may finally be understood for what it really is -an illusion or artificial construct of mortal life.

Hey Tin Honey!
Awesome post!! been waiting for pluto for a while as a capricornius lol! was reading up on the trine alignment of Jupiter , Saturn and Pluto which will take place three times in 2008...VERY EXICITING!!! With Ol' Jup's out and about, it should take the edge off the serious intensity created by saturn and pluto, here's what Lynn Hayes h to say about it:
"Editor’s Note: Jupiter will trine Saturn three times in 2008. I consider this to be the third most important astro-event for this year, after the Pluto ingress into Capricorn, and the Saturn-Uranus opposition which occurs at the end of 2008 - the first of five!!"
Jupiter in Capricorn and the Saturn Trines
by Lynn Hayes
Jupiter takes roughly a year to go through each sign of the zodiac, and it will remain in Capricorn until January of 2009. As it does so it will make three trines to Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn. Saturn and Capricorn take us to the highest levels of practical awareness; they provide the structure and discipline that is required to build a life of achievement and success. Saturn will also be trine to Pluto several times which will bring even more structure to the chaos that has prevailed over the past couple of years and foster an environment that can bring success as Pluto’s transformative urge combines with Saturn’s patience and planning.
Jupiter is the planet of optimism and faith - it teaches us to expand our horizons and to learn the value of positive thinking. Under Jupiter’s influence we gain new confidence and the ability to trust that life is carrying us in just the right direction. When poorly aspected, Jupiter can inflict a reckless and overconfident approach to life but the Jupiter cycles we are seeing over the next year are largely positive.
As Jupiter makes its way through Capricorn we will see the melding of Jupiter’s optimism with Capricornian practicality, resulting in a more reasoned approach to all things Jupiterian: the media, religion, culture, and travel. From the relentless optimism of Pluto in Sagittarius era, we are moving into a much more conservative and contracted time with Pluto’s entry into Capricorn, and this shift in motivation will begin as Jupiter moves into Capricorn
1609
As Jupiter makes its way through Capricorn we will see the melding of Jupiter's optimism with Capricornian practicality, resulting in a more reasoned approach to all things Jupiterian: the media, religion, culture, and travel. From the relentless optimism of Pluto in Sagittarius era, we are moving into a much more conservative and contracted time with Pluto's entry into Capricorn, and this shift in motivation will begin as Jupiter moves into Capricorn this week.
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn as we have said, and Saturn is already in Virgo where in its role of Celestial Taskmaster it is inspiring greater attention to health and increased caution in risky behavior. Although this growing tendency towards contraction rather than expansion may seem depressing, the combination of Jupiter's optimism with Saturn's discipline can lead to great success if we follow a plan rather than just rely on sheer optimism itself.
There has been a serious dearth of the earth element over the past six or seven years, resulting in an environment that lacks stability and structure. With Saturn now in Virgo and Jupiter and Pluto moving into Capricorn that situation is being remedied to the extreme. We will see a more conservative approach to all things, not necessarily political conservatism, but a conservatism that demands restraint and patience rather than the reckless and impulsive actions which have dominated the Jupiter and Pluto in Sagittarius era.
Jupiter will make its first trine to Saturn in mid-January of 2008, offering the potential for great success in our endeavors, particularly for those of us with planets in the early degrees of earth and water signs. Even for the more impulsive airy and fiery types, the trine of Saturn to Jupiter will make it easier to find the discipline and stability to achieve our goals.
Jupiter's expansive urge seeks freedom from restraint, and in Capricorn that thirst for expansion creates new boundaries and structures. The last time Jupiter in Capricorn made a trine to Saturn was in 1948, the year that Burma, Sri Lanka, Israel and Palestine all declared their independence.
In April, Saturn trines Pluto for the first time (although Saturn has been within orb of a trine to Saturn for the past six months or so). The second trine of Jupiter to Saturn takes place in mid-September as Jupiter stations direct after its retrograde passage, with the final trine occurring in November 0f 2008 just in time for the elections. This will be a particularly interesting time since Saturn will also be opposing Uranus, bringing about some interesting surprises!

Interesting stuff. I got the paragraph below from this Web site
http://www.astrodynamics.net/Articles/Pluto-in-Capricorn.htm.
"During the passage of Pluto, we see extremes and compulsions in the area of life associated with the sign through which Pluto travels, and with the Capricornian association with governments and government buildings I would expect a worldwide attempt to solidify a global government and minimize individual liberties. Pluto deals with issues of power - on a personal level such as personal empowerment as well as with the power structures that govern all of humanity that fall under the rubric of the Capricorn theme. When Uranus enters Aries in 2010-2011, there will be a fervor as the pendulum swings back towards individual liberties. By the time Uranus forms a square to Pluto in Capricorn in 2012-2013 there will be tremendous cultural, social and political upheaval which will further transform governments and political structures."

Pluto, Capricorn & America's Birthday
A very interesting astrological event came to attention recently via Spirit and Destiny Magazine, one that has been rather under reported so far. On the 26th of January, the distant planetoid Pluto will enter the astrological house of Capricorn the symbol of conservatism, leadership and at times dominance. America was born as a nation on the date 04/07/1776 under the exactly opposed sign Cancer at the end of a passing through Capricorn by Pluto.
Its no wonder then the astrologers are interested what the return to this position heralds for America and by default the global culture that is intrinsically linked to it, its been 230 years since last time...

Pluto Goes Direct
Friday September 7, 2007
Pluto went direct today, and is on its way to moving into Capricorn in January. Pluto is in Sagittarius at 28 degrees, the end of 12 years in the sign of active integrity and trans-national truth seeking. Pluto's force comes out through power, and for those that mis-use it, the feet will be held to the fire! This is the "man behind the curtain" stage, a culmination of Pluto in Sagittarius set to expose those that have abused their power.
In the last decade, the clergy sex scandals caused many to lose faith in the heirarchy of the Catholic Church. This week, there are more reports of corruption involving public officials in New Jersey and police chiefs in South Florida. From the Abramhoff scandals in Congress, up to the highest levels of the Justice Department, corruption in America seems entrenched in the system. Many citizens have experienced a brutal loss of illusions about the country, a dis-illusionment. Pluto destroys the old, and its an ugly scene, but it makes way for the new, more truthful at the roots, global identity. "Who are we deep down?" is the question Pluto asks.
Other countries are also dealing with corrupted power with recent news involving the Japanese cabinet and the newly formed Iraqi government. China just formed its first ever National Corruption Prevention Bureau (http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/china/2007-09/07/content_6089381.htm) to try to control it there. When Pluto moves into Capricorn, the sign of big business, there's likely to be a total review of the IMF, World Bank and other global financial institutions. Light will shine into the dark corners of globalization's shadow side, with a price to be paid for hidden institutional greed.
Pluto going direct today brings an acceleration, and through December, a time of eye-popping revelations. This petite ice rock may cause the mighty bad guys to fall and fall hard. So like many so-called astrological meanies, Pluto's destructive aspect is eventually shown to be a blessing in disguise.

fed in aig rescue - $85b loan
government response reaches dramatic new level:
U.s. Will take 80% stake in nation's largest insurer
to prevent global financial chaos.
new york (cnnmoney.com) -- in an unprecedented move, the federal reserve board is lending as much as $85 billion to rescue crumbling insurer american international group, officials announced tuesday evening.
The fed authorized the federal reserve bank of new york to lend aig (aig, fortune 500) the funds. In return, the federal government will receive a 79.9% stake in the company.
Officials decided they had to act lest the nation's largest insurer file bankruptcy. Such a move would roil world markets since aig (aig, fortune 500) has $1.1 trillion in assets and 74 million clients in 130 countries.
An eventual liquidation of the company is most likely, senior fed officials said. But with the government loan, the company won't have to go through a tumultuous fire sale.

lehman brothers collapse stuns global markets
new york (cnn) -- global markets were reeling monday after a historic day on wall street that saw two famous names become the latest victims of the credit crunch.
The leading u.s. Investment bank lehman brothers filed for bankruptcy and brokerage merrill lynch was the subject of a $50 billion buyout by bank of america.
The fate of other big name financial institutions remained in doubt and stock prices plunged in asia, europe and the united states.
In new york, the dow jones industrial average closed 504 points down, or about 4.4 percent.
The nasdaq composite lost 3.6 percent, its worst single-session percentage decline since march 24, 2003. It left the tech-fueled average at its lowest point since march 17 of this year.
In europe, ftse index in london declined 3.92 percent while the paris cac 40 was down 3.78 percent. It was the worst day for the index since the 9/11 terror attacks in 2001.
Major asian indexes were closed but india's sensex fell 5.4 percent, taiwan's benchmark dropped 4.1, australia's key index dropped 2 percent and singapore fell 2.9. Check markets
the turmoil at merrill lynch and lehman is bound to mean job losses in the already hard-hit financial services industry, but so far neither company has indicated how many will be cut.
"this crisis is clearly deeper than anybody had imagined only a short time ago," peter stein, an associate editor at the wall street journal in asia, told cnn.
The chaos followed a roller-coaster weekend for a wall street already concussed by woes at other major financial firms and mortgage-financing titans fannie mae and freddie mac.
At one point the u.s. Federal reserve was forced to step in, announcing plans to loosen lending restrictions to the banking industry in an effort to calm markets, while a consortium of 10 leading domestic and foreign banks agreed a $70 billion fund to lend to troubled financial firms.
U.s. President george w. Bush said monday he is confident that the markets are resilient and can deal with the latest financial blows. "we are working to reduce disruptions and minimize the impact these financial market developments on the broader economy."
he added: "in the short run, adjustments in the financial markets can be painful for people worried about their investments and for employees of the firms."
u.s. Democratic presidential candidate barack obama said eight years of bush "brought us the most serious financial crisis since the great depression."
his republican rival said john mccain said he was happy the federal government decided not to use taxpayer dollars to bail out lehman brothers.
In an effort to calm market jitters, the european central bank on monday said it has pumped $42.6 billion into money markets. The bank of england in london also took steps, offering nearly $9 billion in a three-day auction.
In another development, american international group, the world's largest insurer, was reportedly struggling to secure billions of dollars in capital after months of seeing its share values slide.
Police cordoned off lehman's headquarters in new york on sunday as staff, some in suits, others in casual clothes, left the building with cardboard boxes while tourists and onlookers gathered to watch the spectacle.
The 158-year-old bank, which has weathered previous financial upheavals and saw its offices destroyed in the september 11 world trade center attacks, filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, which grants protection while it works out a plan to pay back creditors.
The collapse of lehman came after shares declined 94 percent in the space of a year, prompting speculation over its fate. It took a turn for the worse sunday when bank of america and british bank barclays, both viewed as potential "white knights," pulled out of deal talks, sources told cnnmoney.com.
Both lehmans and merrill have been caught with huge exposures to unsecured mortgages, the bad debts at the heart of the so-called credit crunch that has devalued the u.s. Housing market and sent financial shockwaves worldwide.
Lehman's collapse and the sale of merrill reduces the number of independent firms on wall street to two -- morgan stanley and goldman sachs -- following the sale of bear stearns to jp morgan at a bargain price earlier this year.
"acquiring one of the premier wealth management, capital markets and advisory companies is a great opportunity for our shareholders," bank of american chairman and chief executive officer ken lewis said in a statement monday.
"together our companies are more valuable because of the synergies in our businesses."
like lehman, merrill lynch has been suffering from bad real estate bets, and its stock price lost 27 percent last week -- shares are down 65 percent this year.
Merrill, known for with its famous bull logo, has been an icon of wall street and investing. But billions of dollars in losses in the last year due to fallout in the u.s. Mortgage market proved too much for the 94-year old firm.

citigroup to face fraud charges
new york state attorney general notifies banking giant of intent to file charges over sale of troubled auction-rate securities and claims citi destroyed documents.
new york (cnnmoney.com) -- new york state attorney general andrew cuomo said friday that his office intends to file charges against citigroup for the alleged fraudulent marketing and sale of troubled auction-rate securities to everyday investors.
Cuomo outlined his intentions in a letter to citigroup's general counsel dated friday, saying that charges were imminent.
In the letter, the new york attorney general's office alleged that the nation's largest bank "has repeatedly and persistently committed fraud by material misrepresentations and omissions" in the underwriting, distribution and sale of auction rate securities, touting them as safe, cash-equivalent investments.
Cuomo's office claimed that the sale of these securities had "a severe detrimental impact" on tens of thousands of citigroup customers.
The ag also claimed that citigroup "destroyed recordings of telephone conversations" related to the marketing and sale of auction-rate securities.
In a statement, citigroup said it was working with market participants and regulators to find an industry-wide solution to auction rate security issues, adding it was cooperating with regulators in all aspects of the investigation.
"citi has acted in good faith and in the best interests of our clients both before and since auctions began to fail, and there is simply no basis for claims to the contrary," the company said.
Citigroup added that it is the company's "practice to recycle tapes" and that "the recycling of the tape in question was inadvertent."
cuomo's letter comes just a week after he brought a multi-billion dollar civil lawsuit against the swiss banking giant ubs (ubs) for its role in selling auction-rate securities to its customers at a time when the market for these securities was under severe strain.
Auction-rate securities are long-term bonds that hospitals, cities and corporations sell at weekly or monthly auctions, which many investors, until now, had treated like cash investments. The market for these investments is worth about $330 billion.
The auction-rate security market began to fail in february as the credit crisis took a turn for the worse, effectively locking up the market for these securities.
Earlier friday, citigroup revealed in a quarterly filing that the securities and exchange commission had initiated a formal probe into whether it violated various federal securities laws in connection with the sale of auction-rate securities.
The company also said it was responding to subpoenas from state agencies in texas, new york and massachusetts over the sales.
Other securities firms have been targeted by state regulators in the ever-widening auction rate security scandal.
In june, massachusetts state securities regulators filed a civil suit against ubs. Earlier this week, massachusetts charged merrill lynch (mer, fortune 500) with fraud for promoting auction-rate securities.
And a little over two weeks ago, missouri state securities regulators inspected the offices of wachovia securities in st. Louis seeking documents related to the sales of auction-rate securities. Wachovia securities is a subsidiary of wachovia (wb, fortune 500), the nation's fourth-largest bank.
Cuomo's office said it was seeking a settlement with citigroup in which the bank buys back the securities from investors at face value, reimburse investors for any damages they have suffered and pay a penalty for misconduct during the investigation.
Citigroup (c, fortune 500) shares finished 1% higher in friday trading. To top of page

Dow plunges over 300 points
Stocks slumped today, with the Dow industrials tumbling more than 300 points, as the government's emergency rescue of AIG exacerbated fears about the stability of financial markets. CNNMoney reports the selloff also comes in the wake of Lehman Brothers' bankruptcy and Merrill Lynch's sale to Bank of America.

Yeah, Pluto has plenty of time to do a thorough job. That's why there's no escaping it for them, and also why we see some pretty desperate measures from them.
I had to laugh when they demoted Pluto from planet status. As though that's going to change anything :p
How stupid of them to think they are mightier than the Universe. ;)

President Bush and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson today outlined a plan likely to cost hundreds of billions of dollars to contain the nation's widening financial crisis. "We must act now to protect our nation's economic health from serious risk," Bush said at a White House press conference.

What this means is that the MONETARY SYSTEM is saved from complete failure, and the tax payers become the new owners of the problem. If the financial institutions fucked up, they SHOULD fail. Amazing how they just serve the shit to the herd and we just take it!
Well, not for much longer, people. They can try save the monetary system as much as they want, but it's not going to work. It is going to fail and die a miserable painful death. This is just the beginning.

If this transit last only 15 or so years and the last such transit was during the American Revolutionary War, then it does not add up. 12 signs X 15 years for Pluto to transit said sign = 180 years.. give or take 20 years and you still have the maximum of year 1808 when the last transit even began.,, when Napoleon began to gain and loose power.
Pluto is interesting as planets go because it was not discovered until the 1920's, and that was really when it's power was made manifest. (So you can't "grand-father" in it's influence. And revolution would more likely be a Uranian impulse, anyway). This was when the underground money called oil was being tapped, the stock market fell, doctors were talking about the power of the subconscious, and the "underworld" gangsterism was really taking off. Also, Pluto rules hidden and secret societies -- a Scorpio theme.
Pluto in Capricorn helps usher in this Nazi Police State World Government, allowing it to rise to new heights of power and influence. The top. This is Capricorn. Pluto rules secret and manipulative societies. The hidden Illuminati government will take over the world during this period, just like they plan and are already very close to doing.
People who are Capricorns, because they always ascend to high office in their profession or mode of service, may be exposed or feel this influence of the new government accutely. Even those with strong Capricorn planets will be influenced by this new government. But all of us will be effected as Saturn -- The Law Giver,, ( and Capricorn's planet) is a very strong force in everybodies chart. "Buckle your seatbelts" is right. No reason to be optimistic.

have you studied reiki ? i haven't but it seems like it runs energy through the body, not sure if it can transmute negative energy.
you mention you are a porter is there much opportunity for touch healing, or maybe just been close to someone can give a healing effect.

Actually I have had a go at hands-on healing of the type used at my Spiritualist Church. It is virtually the same as Reiki. I also did it to a couple of friends and they reported some benefits.:)
