I'm neither black or white
I'm neither rich nor poor
Do i have a name
I'm not really sure
Are you left or right,happy or sad
People always go
What is all this fuss about
I'm a child dont you know

I've come into this world
With an open heart and mind
To love and respect others
And treat them as i find
I need to have expriences
So i can learn and grow
For me that is essential

Teach me not your prejudice
Your bitterness and hate
And spare me your religous gods
So mighty and so great
Let me form my own beleifs
And I'll reep what I sow
Im not yet an adult

I know what I'll do
With this precious life of mine
I'm going to be the best i can
To flourish and to shine
I'll keep my head up high
When I am feeling low
I know what your thinking

Now I am no one special
But I'm very much unique
And this truth within ourselves
Is something we must seek
Loosing fear is the only thing
That you yourself must do
And please remember just one thing
You were once a child too
