Weird OBE

About a year ago I had this really weird OBE. I was having a lucid dream about going around in endless corridors when the dream changed and I was outside a tall building holding onto a balloon. When I let go, floated up. Thats when the OBE happened. Suddenly I felt this amazing vibaration (if you have ever been to a rock concert, and felt the precussion vibration, u might know what i mean, exept this vibration was more of an electrical hum). At the same time I felt this electrical hum, similar to the noise halogen lamps make, only much louder and more intense. I felt myself rising and was suddenly aware of being at two places at once- in my bed and the ceiling. I could aso see myself (kind of) as energy, and somehow, with my eyes closed, I could see my room. It was really weird. And the whole time, I felt paralized, there was this huge vibartion and noise. I was scared at first, but then relaxed. Then I sort of floated back into my body and "woke up" and wrote the experience down.
Several months later I had another intesting experience. I was having a lucid dream (cant remember what), when I felt this vibration and noise come again. Exept this time I didnt rise out of my body. I was aware of being paralyzed so I tried to move my hand. Exept my hand didnt move. Suddenly, my hand did more, except it wasnt my hand. I guess I could say it was my spirit hand. Have you ever waved you arm in front of the tube TV? thats how it looked like. My spirit hand kept on snapping back into my real hand, and every time it left, it made this electrical buzz. My spirit hand ( i am not exactly sure about colour, i think it had a greenish tinge to it). Finally the experience was over. It was really weird. I read about astral projections, and this was nothing like an astral projection I read about. The buzzing faded, through I could still feel it in the back of my head. Also, during both experiences, I felt a huge amount of power, like energy.
I had similar experiences later on, but in none I left my body, I only had this vibration/buzzing stage and it wasnt as intense. (just two days ago, one happened, i get them very often. ) Can anyone explain? I really wish to have a REAL astral projection, and instructions on how to do it would be great. Oh, i almost forgot, every time this experience happens, i get paralyzed.

I cannot explain, since I am not certain if I have had a real OBE, I can only be certain of lucid dreams, and those surely are wierd.

I have read from others that OBEs usually begin with being paralysed, and that in a way helps the OBE, since you are probably more likely to move your astral self rather than your body. Moving in the astral body is very different though. You might think you have to move like you do normally, but in the astral body, you can with practice just fly around, pass through walls and probably even teleport your astral body to somewhere familiar, and even places you do not know. Familiar places are easier to begin with as far as I know. I have thought about trying these days, but I havent been able to catch my self conciously in the moment between sleep and being awake. I usually go straight to sleep when I get the option :o
