Global Warming Swindle Channel 4 Tonight

Hi All,

just posted this at Planetary Change but thought that it might be useful in the general section as well (hope I'm not breaking any rules that I may be unaware of).

had a quick look see but couldn't see any info on this Channel 4 programme posted here ( please forgive me if I have overlooked a posting).

It's called "The Great Global Warming Swindle" and is on Channel 4 in the U.K at 9p.m tonight (8/3/'07). May be a little controversial as the title suggests and I believe that we will at least get to hear from some scientists that do not support the mainstream model of Global Warming. Could be an interesting watch if it plays fair by the evidence.

The programme was brilliant i thought. Totally exposed the greenhouse effect for what it truly is, a myth:mad: I wish the BBC could do 911 research with as much honesty. But watch out now, the media will be blitzed with new propaganda supporting the myth. Well done ch4.:D

Yeah, I had quiet hopes for this but didn't want to jinx it.Excellent expose of controlled thinking.
Love the way that it demonstrated that temperature drove CO2 and not the other way around.

Backlash imminent I'm sure.

By the way, watched a bit of BBC later ( I still do partake of Question Time even though I know that it isn't good for my blood pressure) and saw a trailer for a new Adam Curtis ( Power of Nightmares) documentary this weekend which may also be worth checking out. ( he took a lot of stick about 7/7 so hope that this won't be a dilution of his themes).

Sorry but I disagree, that is what we are being programmed to believe, It helps to stops third world countries from developing if the leaders of the most powerful countries in the world can convince the people of this "global warming is caused by the people" nonsense, and that is exactly what they are doing now. I think it stinks that a scientist is far more likely to get funding for research into his/her specific field if it in someway benefits the global warming myth that the leaders of the world are trying to indoctrinate into the people. If you had watched the program you would of seen leading scientists totally debunking this idea that global warming is caused by the people. There are more Co2 emissions released into the atmosphere from leaves that have fallen from trees and begun to rot, or the evaporation of the water from the worlds oceans and seas than there is from mankind. There is more Co2 released into the atmosphere from the faeces of grazing cattle than there is from mankind, or natural phenomena like volcanic eruptions. There are countless examples of why it is obvious that mankind is not responsible for global warming. Throughout history there have been earth changes, the earth has warmed up, and the earth has cooled down, and there is not one shred of evidence that suggests it is caused by Co2 emissions. It is obvious that the current nonsensical theory on global warming has been brought about by governments dangling carrots in front of scientists in an effort to get them to back up there propaganda. If your a scientist speaking out against the theory that mankind is responsible for global warming then you are treated with disdain, you are treated like an heretic.

Good programme. "Global Warming" is a complete spook story designed to reign us in and give the powers-that-be more excuses to add taxes and cut services. Gordon Brown has already done it with his so-called "green tax" on flights, which of course is nothing other than a money-making scam par excellence.

The planet has been warming up and cooling down for billions of years and it will always do so.

It was only several thousand years ago that most of Europe was covered in a sheet of ice 5 miles thick. Who's fault was that? It's a crock.

I agree with you very much. HAARP and Chemtrails do need addressing but that wasn't the remit of this programme; it was to directly address the lie that CO2 is causing global warming which I think that it did admirably. Yes, there are other things going on and there may well be more than one reason for the rise in temperature. Personally I think that a raise in the vibrational speed of consciousness is playing a part but that is just a personal opinion and backed by intuition and not by the sort of empirical science that this programme needed to demonstrate.
Job well done and proof, at least, that not all scientists back the media fed story of the cause of global warming.

Incidentally, if anyone missed it there are torrents now appearing on Torrent Reactor, Torrent Spy and Pirate Bay: haven't noticed any on ConCen yet

While I think HAARP is clearly used to manipulate and control storms (not sure about anything more than that as yet) Im still unsure of what the Chemtrails thing i about, there is something going on of course, but what?, I dont know ....

It could be a way of helping them to manipulate frequencies using things like HAARP or to block frequencies coming in.... but there is so much speculation on this its hard to see, im surprised more has not been uncovered about this, surely its not hard to work out whats in the fuel tanks that are creating them and working out what effects they can have.... has anyone got any decent facts on this?
