flashing stars making their way across the sky

ive always observed particular stars in the night that seemed to flash red and blue


last night i took the time to observe one for the 1st time

it flashed blue, white and red then after a while im sure it went blue and yellow.it made its way across a part of the sky id say about a tenth the speed of a regular jumbo jet.if it were a jumbo jet itd have to be incredibley high up to have only travelled so far. it never deviated from the straight arc direction either. it was definately brighter than all star else in the sky because i was in the street with street lights providing heavy pollution and it was still visible next to the light of a street lamp


argh hard to describe. anybody got an idea of what im on about?

Yeah mate I see this type of thing all the time but never really think of it as being odd even though I dont know what it is. Maybe a satelite or something.
I have yet to witness a real "UFO" but it is something I really want to experience.

I was about to say it was an aircraft because of their multicoloured flashing lights, but if it was an aircraft at cruising altitude then it would be too far away to see it's navigation lights.
