Hi All,

had a quick look see but couldn't see any info on this Channel 4 programme posted here ( please forgive me if I have overlooked a posting).

It's called "The Great Global Warming Swindle" and is on Channel 4 in the U.K at 9p.m tonight (8/3/'07). May be a little controversial as the title suggests and I believe that we will at least get to hear from some scientists that do not support the mainstream model of Global Warming. Could be an interesting watch if it plays fair by the evidence.

I watched it mitch and thought it was brilliant. It totally exposed the bush/blair/gore cabel for what they truly are, a bunch of con men, duping the public with scare tactics to enforce higher taxes and fuel more fear. I was surprised it was so honest, shame the BBC couldn't take a leaf out of ch4 book on being honest with their reporting. But dont be surprised now, if the media is blitzed with propaganda to prop up the myth. Those scientist rocked. I wonder how the NWO will react. Nice one:D

Hi richmick,

just responded about this in the general area but think that you are right about its surprising honesty- if only all T.V could be like that. Know that it had its own bias but that is only in response the the heavy bias that the media is selling and I loved the deconstruction of the Gore graph, showing that the temperature/CO2 correspondence was actually the reverse to that shown in Gore's ( Oscar winning: that should say it all) film.

More like this and there is still hope.

As an aside, I was watching the BBC a little later and saw a trailer for a new Adam Curtis documentary sometime this weekend. I thought that his Power of Nightmares was just about essential viewing and, although he took a lot of flack over it because 7/7 happened just a short while after its final transmission, I'm still hoping for a thought provoking piece from him that may address some of the BBC's abject cowardice over their recent 911/Kelly/McVeigh efforts.

Yes...it is a conspiracy by petroleum companies to get rid of competition...get these greenies and hippies behind environmental groups to lobby the government to maintain their monopoly by not allowing the building of new refineries and constrict supply...also the uneconomical production of bio fuels...which guess what? Cost 2-4 times more, even use fossil fuels in their production and still produce CO2
