Is your family preparing for 2012?
Body: I got a message from the producer of the ABC show, "Wife Swap". They are casting for a show for families who are preparing for 2012. Whether it be spiritually or literally preparing by moving, storing food, etc.. you will probably qualify, but of course you will have to provide some proof of what you are doing, so please, serious applicants only.
Here is her original message.
"Hi. My name is Molly Sebastian and I am a producer working for ABC's reality show "Wife Swap." If you have seen the show, you probably know that we pride ourselves on casting a wide array of families…families from all different walks of life who would like the opportunity to educate the viewing audience about their particular parenting philosophy and their way of life. We are currently casting for our fourth season and I am looking for a family who is preparing for 2012. I would love to speak to you more about this project to see if you might be interested or if you might have suggestions about possible candidates.
If you are unfamiliar with the show, the premise of Wife Swap is to take two different families and have the moms switch place to experience how another family lives. Half of the week, mom lives the life of the family she is staying with. She then introduces a “rule change” where she implements rules and activities that her family has. This is meant to be a positive experience for people to not only learn but teach other families and other ways of life.
Families must consist of two parents and at least one child between 6 and 17."
Families featured in an episode receive a $20,000 honorarium.
