Hug a hoody !.
Problem: Hoods/burqas tend to hide peoples faces.
CCTV/security services don't like this.
Reaction: According to the repeaters, hoodies are bad people, up to no good, waiting in alleyways to mug/rob you and terrorists can use burqas to evade detection.
Solution: Make people paranoid about hoods and burqas. Ban burqas (as in certain European countries) and ban hoods in public places (as in UK).

/sigh
are they trying (or did they) to ban hoods in the UK? seems a bit illogical to ban something that is meant to keep you warm and protected from certain weather conditions..
in america that perspective of hoodies is the same. from the media's presentations, usually trouble makers and/or mischievous people seem to wear them.
completely opposite from mine (and most others) perspective. but sadly alot of people buy in to this and use hoodies to express their mischievous attitude. it just ultimately leads to a global consensus that people who wear hoodies are potential 'terrorists'.. :(
perfect reaction, and a very scary, potential, solution.

That would only work if the Illuminati had made people wear veils and hoods in the first place.
I don't recall Bush being a skateboarder.

So wear your hoods anyway. Or do as I do sometimes. Wear a large brimmed hat (like a cowboy hat)- it'll shade you from cameras too. Eventually they'll have to ban sombreros amigos.

Why not ban pockets and hats of all types? Shave everyones hair?? pockets are for hiding things...or ban clothing judged to be 'too baggy'.
Privacy and security are NOT mutually exclusive. At least they shouldn't be, when travel is concerned. And by that I mean simply to be left alone. Oh well, Im being unreasonable.
Utter ridiculousness, this move is a distraction!

What a great post, so simple but really it truly does make sense. Thank you

Fact is that most crimes are commited by baseball hoody dicks. So I don't see your justification for calling this a conspiract. It's logic.
If the masons are using logic to make this a police state then I really don't see what you can do about it.

People have been wearing hoods and burqas for thousands of years so why is it such a 'problem' now ?.

They use hoods in THEIR OWN ceremonies.
Guess they all hate competition.

that rule seems so foreign and bizzare to me. sure punk asses wear hoodies but old ladies wear wool jackets with hoods too. lafey's right, its a distraction. my acupuncturist told me to keep my feet and head warm and i will have a way better chance of staying healthy. she said, a hood is best because if u just wear a collar the wind hits u in the back of the head still. since i have followed her advice i havent even caught a cold in three years!! even with this 'norwalk virus' and flu epidemic propaganda. it's just outragous to me that hoods are 'banned' in other places.

I think discretion needs to be used on the part of businesses just as common courtesy needs to be practiced by their customers.
