Reptillians just outside our perception of light ?

We are led to believe they are just outside our visible field of light - so cats and dogs etc can see them but we can't

well - why don't we just use a camera to see them ! digital camera's can see infra red light for example so surely a camera can be set up to film a potential reptillian shapeshifter

i can't believe nobody has tried this before
