The man giving this lecture was threatened by "a certain company with a three-letter acronym" not to give a talk on how he had pwned a certain "secure" proximity card technology. As of 2 days ago he wasn't going to do it. Instead he ended up giving an abbreviated lecture (flanked by an ACLU attorney). That's American Civil Liberties Union, for you Brits, a powerful organization.
