Other Calenders That Confirm the Mayans?

We've all heard plenty about the 2012 "concrescence" or whatever you want to call it. It's all based on the Mayan calendar. But I keep hearing mention that this prohphecy is either encoded or explicated in other cultures' systems of time keeping. Can anyone provide me sources of this verification?

These links aren't working for me. I have wanted to read the Ra Material for some time now. I know a little about it from Wilcock and the Cassiopaeia transmissions from Laura Knight-Jadcyk (who also claims the "C's" set that time as a transition point). I've also read Terrance McKenna's "The Invisible Landscape" where he derives a bunch of shit from the mathematics of the I Ching. Since I didn't know Calculus, I couldn't verify any of it, but I couldn't figure out how he arrived at either the starting date or the ending date for the whole "Time-Wave Zero" algorithm. Plus, what the fuck is "novelty" anyways? Did he ever define that term? I actually bought the software for that way back in 1996 when it came on a floppy and it didn't seem to predict anything at all. Don't know what I did with that disk.

Well, isn't it a very rough "26,000 yrs or so?" And isn't this the transition through the zodiac? In the movie "Zeitgeist" they said that the end of the Age of Pisces was around 2150, I believe. Anyone here know when exactly the Piscean Age is supposed to end? Is this corroborated in other Astrological systems like the Chinese?

yes around 26 000 years, I seen more than a few different calculations for the start of the Aquarious age (variations span over two centuries), but I haven't researched this in depth, or seen some relevant astronomical source

what I'm trying to find who has initially release these informations about these ''Earth cycles'', Mayan calendar alone doesn't mean nothing, only info that I've found so far belongs to ''pseudo science'', for now seems disinfo ...

I would like to share a personal experience I had concerning a possible shift happening at the end of 2012.

In January of 2007 I was going through a psychotic episode (I have Schizophrenia) and while I was surfing the net I came to the website of a local newspaper. You can download a pdf file of the front page of the newspaper there, which I did every day.

This time I noticed that the frontpage solely consisted of gray rectangles, so I downloaded it. When I opened the pdf the date said the end of 2012 and there where only grey rectanlges on the page with at the top as headlines things like: Births : 0, Deaths : 0, Marriages : 0, ... .

I knew about 2012 but wasn't very into it and didn't make the link to a global shift happening as described in the Ra Material, so I didn't understand what I was seeing at the time.

So, it could be that I was just having a random hallucination OR maybe my Higher Self was trying to tell me something?

In the “Brahma-Vaivarta Purana”, Lord Krishna tells Ganga Devi that a Golden Age will come in the Kali Yuga - one of the four stages of development that the world goes through as part of the cycle of eras, as described in Hindu scriptures. Lord Krishna predicted that this Golden Age will start 5,000 years after the beginning of the Kali Yuga, and will last for 10,000 years.

Mayan Calendar Matches Hindu Calendar
The Mayan calendar began with the Fifth Great Cycle in 3114 BC and will end on 21 December 2012 AD. The Hindu Kali Yuga calendar began on 18 February 3102 B.C. There is only a difference of 12 years between the Hindu's beginning of the Kali Yuga and the Mayan's beginning of the Fifth Great Cycle.

Golden Age Could Begin in 2012
The ancient Hindus mainly used lunar calendars but also used solar calendars. If an average lunar year equals 354.36 days, then this would be about 5270 lunar years from the time when the Kali Yuga started until 21 Dec 2012. This is the same year that the Mayans predict rebirth of our planet. It is also about 5113 solar years of 365.24 days per year, and is day number 1,867,817 into the Kali Yuga. By either solar or lunar years, we are over 5,000 years into the Kali Yuga and it is time for Lord Krishna's prophecy to happen according to the ancient Hindu scriptures. Lord Krishna's Golden Age could easily begin in 2012!

Thanks for the Law of One links! I've seen the Cassiopaiea cult link before. The author (LKJ) gave a lengthy rebuttal, but I'm really not invested enough in the material to worry about it. Interesting experience. I imagine it was meant specifically for you, so you'll have to decide what you think about it.
