My Vision

For a while now, I've been studying Hermetic Gnosis.
Through the gracious help of another, I have been learning quite alot.
I decided to try and meditate on things, and what has happened was nice.

I wanted to try to go for an OBE. And as I was laying down, I noticed I couldn't keep thoughts out of my mind. So, I did what I have heard of Alister Crowley doing. He would stand in a circle, and any thoughts to come in his circle, he would slice with a sword.
This is what I did. I made a mental circle, and I stood in it with a middevil looking sword. And when a thought came into my circle, I would slice it in half with ease. Until finally, no thoughts were coming near. So I sat down in my circle, and I made a Gemini symbol in front of me. At the start of the circle. And at first, I believed I was speaking to myself, but as I spoke, my understanding wasn't my own, and visions started to appear.

I (or a force which told me to tell myself) had said:
This is where you started. Born as a Gemini. Polarity. Negative and Positive. You must first learn to balance yourself. You're body, and you're mind. Once you have done this, you will achieve that which you desire. But first you must learn polarity and balance.

Now, not only were the words not just my own, but I watched the symbol of the gemini change into a strand of DNA. I saw geometrical patterns flow out from it, and from outside of it. I watched it move in rhythmic motion. And in all, I saw the face of the goatman. Baphomet. He opened his eyes at me. I could see it was him. I did not see his entire body. I saw half of his face, and his shoulder area. It was almost as if HE was speaking to me.

I think I understand this, but it will take some searching.

how long have you managed to push through your pain barrier for up to now?

I'm sorry, but it wasn't "pain" to me.

It wasn't OBE or AP, it was a vision.
I understand it, and why it came to me, but that is for me to understand, otherwise, it would have came to you aswell.

But, when trying to get out. My body becomes numb. I see tunnels, and I can see I'm inside my body. Every sound shakes me. But I don't feel any pain.

ah i am still trying to master the stage of channeling your mind by persisting being in one position regardless of the pain, apparently according to crowley it helps your body and mind to reach asana in time, and makes the mind bypass all the fidgety shit and eventually the body will not send a message to the brain to make aware discomfort and pain, guessing this means easier to slip into meditation and make the connection with mind and breath, but i am not at your stage yet, helpful to know that you have had some kind of acheivement with the practises anyway

did you refer to any other crowley books when (if you have that is) reading magick?

You could. However, I personally have not been reading Crowley.

baphomet can be taken as a symbol of polarity.pointing up with one hand,down with the other.solve et colgula.it would seem you need to get into harmony.

Seem like a fairly clear vision to me, and likely good advice as it is grounded in good intention (betterment). It has been said by some channelers this is the task we face as humanity, balancing male and female energies (maybe the dna strand refers to human evolution).

Gnosis and particularly hermeticism are IMO excellent paths to mysticism...there is much written wisdom.

If your at the stage of communicating with outside entities ... a few simple caveats: Two things... Dont get absorbed by the unseen worlds, remember to do normal physical stuff...Be careful who you talk to, and get rid of anything not nice...protection and grounding. The circle is a great basic protection...

Where did you learn hermetic gnosticism? What techniques etc do they use?

Sounds good. I've been travelling to other dimensions and channeling for the past 3 years and though I haven't used the format you have - sounds like you made a good start. Sounds like your being told about grounding and human evolution. As the frequencies change on our planet our dna changes - I read a report hte other day that The pace of change has increased 100-fold in modern times compared to our distant past, human dna has change 100 x faster in the modern day than in 'olden' times. Along with these changes I beleive is more access to open the doors of our perception. The talk of Balance I think is a key in human evolution - when our emotions/relationships and lives in general are not in balance this reflects in our ability. Also balcne comes from grounding. If we can ground ourselves (and protect ourselves - sounds like your doing that through the circle) it much easier to interact with 'spirit'. Also if you wanna know the difference between talking to a negative entity and a positive one trying throwing a lot of light around it - negative ones don't like that!
