View Full Version : False security

Whenever we get out a jam, whether it's rent we almost didn't pay, or an injury...and go, "wow, pulled that one off, glad that's over." it's a bit disturbing to me, because it's a false sense of security...because it's only a matter of time before that belief system of security is challenged again because it's false.

Lately I've become tired of struggling with worrying about where I'm going to be next month or what I'll be eating. This hamster wheel of survival we've allowed them to construct for us. It seems to be an endless series of close calls and dodged bullets. How long can somebody keep that up before seeing the inherent insanity. Isn't it insanity, if you know there are more bullets coming, to go "whew, that was a close one!" I mean it's like storming the beach of Normandy like in Saving Private Ryan, bullets whizzing by your head and every time one misses you, you go, "whew glad that's over"...you're in a hail storm of bullets! It's not over!

Isn't it the same with this reality and surviving? Wouldn't it be just as absurd? Every day is filled with these "whew" moments. Wouldn't it be better to just drop the whole attachment thing and just let things be? Because you're always going "whew"...what is the point of that? What is it and our neverending delusion of false security? The alternative isn't becoming a hermit, I mean simply not going, "whew" anymore because it makes no difference...because by doing that, you're acknowledging the opposite is bad, as in "oh my god, i'm homeless", so that will always be a factor by default of having to learn to not fear it. Because we only continually face what we're afraid of and refuse to release.

This resistance comes in the form of people, situations, whatever...and when we ignore it, it just comes back bigger and stronger. It's why we run into the same types of people all the time before we stop and deal with whatever firewall we have inside, because that exterior situation is a just a reflection of our inner resistance to something, whether it's loving ourself or whatever.

Good post.

Another thing to add is if you worry about the future, you only get the worry as a reward. You attract that which you imagine. Dodging bullets means that eventually one is going to get you.

You have the right attitude, stop the worrying and dodging and start enjoying things in the now.

Let your mind run wild about the great things that are going to happen to you in the future.

I totally agree. But it's important to take a balanced approach. While never taking safety for granted, it's important to reflect on the victories we have achieved. Historically people have let their guards down after very minor victories, which is sad. For example, when Lyndon B. Johnson announced his presidential campaign resignation, the anti-war movement breathed a sigh a relief, only to soon after have to face Nixon. Keep one eye on the past, one eye on the future, and live fully in the present, is what I believe.

i see what you're saying, but since there is no time and humans are becoming more and more aware of that, with time speeding up like it is, i think the past and the future should be seen more and more as just the mind refusing to live in the now, which is all there is. if you win a basketball game, that's great, and there's nothing wrong with thinking back on it to feel good...but that, in a way, is the mind sort of tricking you into not living in the now...it's kind of going (in a sense), "that was better than now, because now is boring, so i will think about that past victory"...because the now is ALWAYS fantastic, we simply refuse to see what's fantastic about it...we are whole, complete, perfect right NOW. we either keep thinking about past things that made us feel good, which can even be just five minutes ago when we got a blowjob (lol), or, what we think will make us feel good in the future, even if it's five minutes from now when our girl brings us the sandwich she made...you are completely in lala land and we do that so many times throughout the day i think most would be surprised.

i need to clarify what i'm saying here, because i feel like i'm not explaining it very well. the now is always perfect...constantly thinking about the past and the future, since they don't really exist, is kind of a form of mental illness. the ego HATES the now, it's boring, it can't feed itself that way. it needs to be in the past or the future, in some imaginary construct (that's all it is, because even when thinking about the past or future, you're in the now) in order to puff itself up and feel good. alot of people, and i'd venture to say even MOST people are not satisfied with their lives. it's because they're imagining something better in a future context, or judging their past. the present is perfect, there are no problems in it...even if bills are due, your car got stolen, your girlfriend set your house on fire...you're still in the now and you're still whole, complete. i find when staying in the now problems tend to fix themselves...and i find when i dwell on problems (because they don't really exist) they tend to stay and fester and get worse. i think that's the main function of ascension, is to bring us totally into the now and our problems will vanish...because if you stop, right now and just look around, what problems do you have? not thinking about bills, that are not in the room with you and due in some future that doesn't exist, or the prick you hate at work, who is not with you...just look and feel and smell and listen...it's all perfect, that's my opinion anyway.

i think another factor is people know they're being manipulated, but they have no idea everything is an energetic reflection. meaning doing things is not merely doing things, it's sending an energetic message out, which changes the entire paradigm of your reality. for instance, if you're sick of your job and want to quit working for "the man", but you're worried about how the bills will be paid and how you'll eat...and you simply drop all that worry and simply do exactly what you know to be right, by quitting, everything else takes care of itself, because you've sent an energetic message out that you're not going to participate anymore...and you will find things just happen that allow you to eat and pay the bills. Icke talks about this all the time, and i've done this in my own life...i quit my cubicle job 6 months ago and have been fine...there were a few bumps here and there but i'm still eating and have a roof over my head and now i've got a small business that is bringing in clients. so 6 months ago i sent that message out and just taking that leap of faith is all i needed to do and everything took care of itself. it has to, because our minds are so powerful, that shifts our entire reality, because it's just a reflection of our inner self.

now most people don't realize this and i think that's probably THE single biggest reason they don't want to wake up. they're terrified that if they just quit and stop participating, they will starve and die...it's the opposite...everything will start to shift in their life...at first it will be a little rough, because that's the nature of change, but after a little while it will get easier as they align themselves and focus on what it is they really want (to be free)...it will happen, simple as that. i believe that is why the illuminati continue to downplay the scientific and spiritual component of existence in every day life. people know everything is energy and molecules and all that, but they don't know that those things obey their commands on an energetic frequency level. if people only knew how powerful they really are! the elite would be finished overnight.
