Something else I wanted to put in the title is who here has the most reptillian dna? The two go hand in hand.
I myself am rh -, A-. Apparently that means generally I have a higher amount of reppie dna.
As far as traits, I'm obsessive compulsive and have physical problems of sorts that suggest either my body reacted to additives in foods and/or chemtrails or whatever diseases, or that I'm more of a hybrid.
I'm working on it:D

What ARE the traits considered to be reptilian? :)

What is considered reptillian traits is based upon how science describes the function of the r complex, for a more official explanation as to what is considered. However, you put pieces of the puzzle together and take a chance with what others say, and come up with your own ideas as to what reptillian traits might be.
These are what I think are reptillian:
Any traits that you might see in a reptile species of sorts, like cold blooded attitude, strong hierachy (mentality), strong survival mentality, inbreeding (this is one trait I don't share:eek:), ect.
Deformaties of sorts,
Unusually long fingers, toes, body parts out of proportion, oversized penis ect.
Snake like eyes, not just the eyeball, but the bit around the eyes as well,
Unusually large cheekbone,
More influenced by programming (media, tv, mind controll ect.),
Easily gives in to peer pressure, group mentality,
I can't think of anymore right now, but there you go.

Yeah sure I looked into it. Different sources say different things though.

Ok, well cold-blood is not an attitude, it's a metabolic state, and an idiom. I understand the connection you're making, but I thinks its tenuous.
Deformaties of sorts
As I already told graflok on the Dan Ackroyd thread, I have webbed fingers. He/She hasn't said more than twenty words to me since.
oversized penis
Surely humans have bigger willies than lizards?
Snake like eyes, not just the eyeball, but the bit around the eyes as well
Unusually large cheekbones
My picture is on the photo thread. Have a look and tell me if these apply. :)
More influenced by programming (media, tv, mind controll ect.),
Easily gives in to peer pressure, group mentality,
IMHO susceptibility and gullibility to mass media is entirely to do with intelligence.
Group mentality is in our nature, as well as a healthy dose of individual, free-thinking logic in some.

The human still operates a lot out of the reptilian brain too. Hell, we're have tails and breathe
in water while in our mother's womb (egg) as for other reptilian traits (tho reptilians
don't necessarily breathe underwater).
I know the Reptilian mind is very ritualistic and identifies with symbols which are two major traits I believe.
It also projects the "survival of the fittest" trait when you are in fear or in danger somehow, and it deals heavily with deception.
I'm sure we all have a ritual of some sort, for example: Waking up, brushing your teeth,
taking a shower then going to work, or whatever it may be. These are small scale and
are balanced by our more 'human' side than being a full-blown reptilian.
We also indentify with symbols all the time like; Red light means stop, tilted triangle means play (VCRs and DVD players ect.).
Even things like video games and the video game controller, like Playstations controller with and X, O, square and triangle, and also
the content of a dream like state entertainment provides.
Yeah, we all use our reptilian brain heavily but more so due to heavy influence
of our Reptilian 'masters'.
I don't find any of these traits essentially negative but due to the Reptilian
mind-state the world is pressured into thinking in, it triggers negative respones
towards ourselves and others.

Reptiles have lungs and cannot breathe underwater. Marine iguanas, turtles etc hold their breath when underwater.
We don't have tails, we have a cocyx which is the remnants of a primate link to monkeys, via apes.
Babies do not breathe at all when in the womb. They get all of their oxygen through the umbilicus.

What kinds of rituals do reptiles have? I've not seen any.
How do you know if a reptile is identifying with anything? Their brains are miniscule. Doubt they're into symbols, tbh.
Survival instincts have been suppressed, but they are still the most natural thing in the world.
Deception? How can a reptile deceive? It can camouflage, but that's the survival instinct again. Humans can lie. Not even other primates can do that.

There is a massive operational difference between washing (for hygiene - survival) and the alleged reptilian rituals of killing and eating children, and other such unsubstantiated claims.

Red means stop because in nature it means dangerous = survival instinct.
Sony were very clever when they designed the PS controller, no doubt. No other console will improve on it in 20 years I should think.

I was just giving examples...
Personally... I don't feel I act more like a reptilian or operate that way.
I try to use all of my brain, not just "right side" or "left side" thinking
because it's best when both sides work in harmony imho.

I wasn't necessarily comparing us directly to geckos or anything.
I was saying how our reptilian brain deals with the human mind
and also comparing the nature of that and the would-be reptilian aliens.
Plus, I've done research that says otherwise on a lot of what you've said.
Also, I said reptilians don't breathe underwater, but we are in a very
aquatic state while in our mother's womb that can compare to other
aquatic animals... apparently I didn't make that clear enough.

Fair enough. I take your point.

Which bits?

Aquatic means underwater. Our lungs are not in use in the womb.
I know I'm taking this to the extreme but I'm being sincere, and not meaning to sound impolite. :)

I know our lungs aren't in use while in the womb, but it's exactly that,
we don't take in oxygen that way while in the womb.
Well, my research says the tail we have and some are born with
is reptilian and not that of a primate.
I'm also aware of the color red and how some animals relate to it
or use it. But I don't necessarily get the urge to 'slow down' when
seeing yellow or to 'go' when seeing green other than knowing that's
how street lights work. I was just using red as an example for that
reason, I could of used yellow or green. I know of a chameleon
when it gets mad gets really red, pink and white, when getting
angry is yellow, when calm is green and in a submissive position is in darker
shades of green... just other things to think about.
I don't mean to seem impolite either :)
I'm just straight-forward and somewhat blunt most of the time,
especially on forums and internet communities.
