What do YOU think the point of this forum is?

Its not polite to answer a question with a question, but nevermind.

I dont know what to think the point of this forum is about, I honestly dont.

No Icke here so im guessing this place is going to end up being(already has) similar to 'The Forum' only with mods and supermods(LOL)

Wet firework springs to mind.

How would that work then?

Normally people visit the site then discover the forum, not the other way round.

It keeps them coming back. I would normally visit his site once a week, now with the forum I'll probably check in most day's..

Explain how to be your 'own Icke', infact nevermind keep your new age bollocks to yourself.

i remember the very same convo on 'the forum' when it just started, over 2 years ago and innumerable threads on all kinds of intersting things later.
i think this place is just what is needed tbh.

The purpose of this forum is to be second place.

It isn't very likely that this forum will be better than `the Forum'. The other place is almost completely devoid of moderation (a good thing). works).

it's also almost completley devoid of respect too.

The point of the forum is there is an option when you sign up to give David Icke £3 a month.

Of the 3,000 members who singed up, the law of Fantanamakesstuffup says that 20% will have given him £3

and 20% of 3,000 is a lot of £3s

Hope this helps

Why does Icke have to post here?, he is his own person and is not a prophet thats here to guide our lives.

the point of this forum is that anyone interested in Ickes work can come here and converse with people of smiler interests.

The purpose of this forum is to be second place.

It isn't very likely that this forum will be better than `the Forum'. The other place is almost completely devoid of moderation (a good thing). This place however has a new phenomenon - Supermods (not a good thing. And obviously someone, somewhere has completely missed the point of Icke's works).

But, we shall see.

Jim

I dont think so, this place is not even official yet and its already picking up...

the only reason the forum has any posters is because the url is "www.davidickeforum.com" even though its nothing to do with David Icke... this place will now take over.

and no moderating is not good as it allows prats to ruin it and take advantage of the fact they can say and do as they want.... the only option is to not chat there which is not fare as in real life the person would not be such an arse.

there is nothing wrong with rules if you have created something... its how those rules treat people that is the issue.

I use this forum to share my own research/knowledge with the other forum members, and to learn what others have to share. I could just have my own blog, but who's going to read it? Here, you have a potential audience of hundreds or more, ready-made. I don't have enough info to write a book of my own (not yet anyway), but I do have bits and pieces that others might find helpful in gaining a clearer understanding of the big picture. So, here's where I place it.

Whats the point of this forum?

Does this forum HAVE to have an agenda? can't it 'just be'?
Why are humans so intent on the need for actual answers to everything in life when many things are an ongoing process, so subject to continously changing, therefore not have an answer as in a solution, but an answer in your own reasons (choice) for becoming part of that interaction...which only you could answer.

What I mean is you cannot question the forum agenda if there is one, Only your own reason for being part of the forum and your agenda...i.e....awareness/enlightenment (or like some do..disruption)

This forum im sure has/is helping/helped a lot of people who otherwise may have gone completly insane during the awakening procedure. When i first came into this knoledge,i was completly confused, scared and felt really alone. Then i came across the website and eventually this forum,to be able to speak to like minded people was a huge huge help for me.
Now im settled (mentally),i come on this forum to further my research,to look at things from a different view and i learn something new everyday.
All credit to the moderators of this forum who give up there time and do a great job. Heres to a bigger, stronger forum into the future:)

Whats the point of this forum...

From the dictionary;

3. an assembly, meeting place, television program, etc., for the discussion of questions of public interest.

As you can see, the point for this forum is the same as any other forum, discussion / debate.

Why does it seem pointless to you if David doesn't post himself?

hutanic

Entertainment trough discussion is point of any forum for me personally, plus here and then one can come across some useful information.

Those that search for some higher meaning on forums only miss its point and ask questions like this. My advice is take it for what it is and enjoy.:)

The point to this forum .. :D

The opposite of divide and conquer my friend.

Unite and Prevail!

This forum has people who have learned the truth from all over the place, with all different backgrounds, it provides a place for people just starting to find out to have questions asked and get general help etc .

People who are frustrated to generally vent their frustration :D

Organize events , both in the physical and meditation events.

People power news keeping people up to date of whats going on.

The list truly goes on and on, every aspect of peaceful loving interaction goes on here, and continual light work to expand consciousness so as to better humanity.

:D

BUT for what its worth.

with logic alone i dare say icke would sporadically surf these forums, your trying to tell me, that mr icke, for all his research, all he has ever done, has not been sitting there at his pc one day and though "i wonder whats going on in that forum"

Of course he has.

But no, he would probably never reply, he would probably never even let on, but seriously ...

logic and intuition alone tells me theres a good 95% chance he skims over the general section / news section every month at least once for 10 minutes.
