This story in todays Daily Mail (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=488623&in_page_id=1770) reminded me of Isle of Lewis ritual abuse scandals in the 1990s, until today I'd never heard of The British False Memory Society (http://www.bfms.org.uk/site_pages/frameset.htm) or that a 1994 government inquiry concluded Satanic Rituals don't exist in this country. a report from 2003 (http://thescotsman.scotsman.com/index.cfm?id=1742352005) says it did happen but the report was never released.
According to the BFMS, children as young as 3 make stories up about rituals, sexual abuse & animal sacrifices, they don't say how such young minds could possibly know about these things without ever seeing or hearing about it.

Donald Trumps mother was born in the village of Tong, Isle of Lewis.

Didn't Edward Woodward (from the ritual abuse film Whicker Man) play a detective called 'Callan'?

Yes he did, a long time ago before my time. It opened with a swinging lightbulb I think, but I was just a little kid.

Callanish is not connected though. It's an ancient temple built by the same people who made Avebury and Stonehenge. The thing is that Callanish is better because it's intact. Avebury and Stonehenge were partially demolished in the Middle Ages and had their stone pillaged and broken up for housebuilding. Both temples looked very different when they were first built. Stonehenge was restored and had its stones put into the positions they are today mostly from guesswork! Callanish, like Stonehenge, is laid out to mark important celestial events, like sun and moon rises and settings at the solstices. I'd love to go there.
