I'm new here, signed up a couple days ago...

but I came across this video today( http://www.filecabi.net/video/joerogandmt10.html ).
It's a video with comedian Joe Rogan well audio really
of a Radio show he did where he talks about DMT (Dimethyltryptamine).

The reason I posted this in the reptilian section is because, later
in the show, he says that reptiles have a retina and cornea attatched
to this gland in the brain and is literally a third eye.

I haven't googled it yet to check this 'fact' out.
Joe Rogan isn't the dumbest of people (pretty smart actually)
and I don't think he'll lie or say it if not illegitimately knowing that.

Isn't it interesting, considering the effect DMT has and that
reptiles seem to have a special connection to it?

And when he says the brain locks us out away from it...
I'm thinking that's what they have been doing for thousands and
thousands of years is making the brain do that.

I don't know about anyone else. But I seem to have
really bad short-term memory when it comes to my own
thoughts right when I feel I'm making a sort of connection "out there".
Though I do adventually remember what it was...but not always.

Anywho, I've lurked around (specially in this forum) and I'm glad
to be apart of this community. :D

Hi there cycle of eternity, and welcome to the forum.

On this page here

in one of my posts I wrote some stuff about the corpus callosum (part of the brain) which may be a possible explanation as to why you have trouble making a strong connection 'out there'.

Welcome to the forums for starters. :)

That was neat hearing someone else speak their mind on what they think life is about, and comical at the same time. :D

I agree! our cities are like cancer! I wish we could live in the homes like the one on lord of the rings that the hobbits lived in, the ones dug into the earth, they look very interesting and safe... except in a earthquake haha :p
