For the Brixton Academy event on May 15, what time are you all planning to arrive? Doors open at 12, but i was wondering how early you plan to be there.

I'm traveling from Newcastle, and i'll arrive at heathrow around 8am-ish, then on to the tube, which should take just over an hour...so with any luck i should be there by 9:30 approx.

Cant wait :) this'll be my first time seeing David live :D

I'm hoping to be there for around 11.30. Is there a DI forum meet-up?

My coach arrives at Victoria at 10.50am, doesn't leave me with that much time to get to Brixton before the doors open, I hope the place isn't filled with Chelsea supporters.

I just want to ask... where are us forum members meeting?

I would suggest everyone stands in a group away from the queue to get in. Like, away from the crowd, in a distinct group, in front of the doors.

I should have asked this before, but does anyone know if we bring our own food or if we get enough time in the breaks to get some.
1st time I have been to one of David's marathon talks, another question, what about cameras/camcorders, are we allowed to bring them in?

There is a sandwich shop/newsagent type place 10 metres down the street that gets blitzed during the breaks. There are probably other places round the corner also.

Plus they sell beer and drinks in the venue.

Remembering from last time I went - should be fine to bring own food inside.

The sandwich/ newsagent place is a One Stop.

There is also a burger/kebab place next to it.

And a Nandos opposite Brixton Academy.

Only if you promise not to try and stick David in it and steal him away :D

I was just wondering because I seem to remember the venue mentioning something about a no bags policy but I'm not sure now.

From what I remember from last time - yes there is a no bags policy - however if you have a bag all they do is search it and then let you in.
