How many subliminals can you see on TV?

The X in X Factor is subliminal, also in eastenders certain things are advertised and in Corrie the lastest track is in the background.
I thought subliminals were banned, have you notice the difference with the publicity photos and polaroid snap shots of the same star. Something has been done with it, via the digital artwork.

Just wanted to mention this one my boyfriend noticed. They play this music channel The Voice at his workplace all the time (they have tv screens in there), and one day he noticed this subliminal in the Ayo Technology video of JT and 50 cent. at 0.24/25 there is a clear slitted/reptilian eye subliminal shown. I also noticed something that looks like DNA at 0.17/18 in the vid (strange that the reptilian eye sumbliminal was shown close after the DNA subliminal). There is also use of magic by JT in the vid.

One of the current adverts for Carling has a subliminal: Its the one where the group of lads in space suits hear the voice of god (it turns out to be a nightclub bouncer). Hes meant to say 'do you seek entrance', but my girlfriend and I both heard 'do you seek cl*toris'. The effects on the voice make the syllables blur together, this is the only way i can explain the effect. It is after all trying to promote a lager to 20somethings so I think its a very clever way of getting attention of the target group. Has anyone else noticed?

If you are in the UK and watch television you might have seen an advertisement for a programme that's going to be on about a woman who weighs an astronomical weight. She is so huge that they have to cut out a hole in the wall of her house and a crain to get her out to hospital. This woman looks like she weighs 2 ton and she cannot get out of bed. So my thoughts are, who the hell feeds her? Her life is at risk and she may die from the anaesthetic she needs for the surgery she has to have, yet she lies in bed like a beached whale giving an interview with lipstick on. Hysterical.

I seen a docu a couple of years back about women this size..They are fed by their partners who have a sort of perversion and they are known as "feeders".
They get sexual pleasure out of making their women as large as possible and have their own little niche in the porn industry,websites an all that....never followed it up tho:eek:

The first time I viewed it sounded like 'Clitoris', but when hearing again, it sounds like the 'truth' because I was listening for the actual intention. Now it sounds like clit-truth. Very interesting, you're right.

Hi mole, thats my point exactly, if you're listening to it directly you hear the innocent message, but if you're not paying attention, for example tidying up on the other side of the room, you hear the subliminal which grabs your attention.
