Bush all set to attack Iran: Report

02/17/07 "Express India" -- - London, February 17: The Bush administration's preparation to strike Iran is complete with the top commander of the US Central Command having received computerised plans for ‘Operation Iranian Freedom’, a report has said.

"American military operations for a major conventional war with Iran extend far beyond targeting suspect WMD (weapons of mass destruction) facilities and will enable President George Bush to destroy Iran's military, political and economic infrastructure overnight using conventional weapons," the journal New Statesman has claimed.

In a story titled Attack-Revealed: America's Plans to Invade Iran, the journal quoting British military sources, said ‘the US military switched its whole focus to Iran’ as soon as Saddam Hussein was removed from power. The White House continued this strategy, even though it had American forces bogged down in Iraq.

The US army, navy, air force and marines have all prepared battle plans and spent four years building bases and training for "Operation Iranian Freedom". Admiral Fallon, the new head of US Central Command, has inherited computerised plans under the name TIRANT (Theatre Iran Near Term).

Even as the sending of a second aircraft carrier to the Gulf has been highlighted, the US navy can put six carriers into battle at a month's notice.

The report said any US general planning to attack Iran could now assume that at least 10,000 targets could be hit in a single raid, with warplanes flying from the US or Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

I remember all the blogs and journalists like Seymour Hersh were predicting war with Iran in June 2005 and we're still waiting. These are diversion tactics IMO, Ahmadinejad is controlled opposition and the constant flaming and talk of war diverts our attention from the actual war happening now in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine.
The US doesn't even have enough troops to maintain control in Iraq, how could it effectively launch an offensive in Iran without the draft which the people of America would never stand for without some type of false flag event, with 911 beginning to come out now I don't think they would be stupid enough to try that type of thing again so soon.
So while the talk of war with Iran continues Iraq continues to burn and the pundits keep trying to predict the date of a war that will never happen while using up valuable headline space that should be exposing the real atrocities happening right now.

Whether there was talk of a war on Iran or not , the media STILL wouldn't be talking about the atrocities happening in Iraq or Afghanistan or wherever.

There will be some sort of bombing campaign I reckon. If they can provoke Iran into retaliation then there won't need to be a ' false flag ' event for a declaration of war by the US.

If , as reported , Iran is going to let the British hostages free , this is going to make any bombing campaign look kinda bad and make the West look like the aggressors. Maybe its time for some ' made-up evidence ' or something ?

If they decide to attack Iran no reason will be needed. 'Iranian nuclear program' is good enaugh excuse.

They will tell us after the fact whatever they plan to do to this planet and it's creatures. I think a lot of these news stories are probably disinfo. Something is being hidden behind all this. But, that's just my opinion.
