DETROIT -- A U.S. Justice Department official has been arrested on suspicion of traveling to Detroit over the weekend to have sex with a minor.

An undercover officer posed as a mother offering her child to Atchison for sex, according to police.

Prosecutors said Atchison flew from Pensacola, Fla., to Detroit on Sunday intending to have sex with the 5-year-old girl.

In deposition, detectives said Atchison suggested the mother tell her daughter that "you found her a sweet boyfriend who will bring her presents."

The undercover detective expressed concern about physical injury to the 5-year-old girl as a result of the sexual activity. Detectives said Atchison responded, " I am always gentle and loving; not to worry, no damage ever, no rough stuff ever. I only like it soft and nice."

Police in the town of Murphy said Conradt had solicited sex from a decoy posing online as a 13-year-old. Murphy police were attempting to serve an arrest warrant and a search warrant for Conradt's computer when he shot himself, Murphy Police spokesman Sgt. Snow Robertson said.

Yes, this Atchison guy just totally got my blood boiling, along with the official statements by police that suggested that nobody should assume that there were other victims (I can't find the exact article now).

He ADMITTED to it...so of COURSE there are other victims, especially since he was the coach of two girls' sports teams. They need to dig a little bit, if not to solve this all together, but to offer help to all victims.

A former Madison Boy Scout troop leader was indicted on charges Friday that he engaged in sexual activity with one of his Scouts in the mid-1990s.

He was indicted on four counts of traveling interstate with a minor for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity. Hutton was originally indicted Wednesday, but the indictment was sealed pending his arrest Friday morning by FBI agents.

Monica McCanch presented a well-dressed face of confident respectability to the world. She worked for Pfizer, the pharmaceutical company, in Kent before taking redundancy last year for a new life in Jamaica, where she planned to invest in eco-tourism.

She told friends that she was making a fresh start after the break-up of her 29-year marriage to Norman McCanch, a well-regarded naturalist. But she was also trying to leave behind the disturbing secret of her involvement in a paedophile ring that subjected a number of children to repeated abuse and posted videos of their torment on the internet.

Yesterday the past caught up with McCanch, 55, when she pleaded guilty to four offences of sexual activity with a child and one of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child. She stood, head bowed, at Maidstone Crown Court, as Judge Jeremy Carey told her that her crimes were grave and jailed her for six years.

Gone were the smart clothes, hair dye and make-up. McCanch was silver-grey and, with her gold-rimmed glasses, seemed almost grandmotherly in appearance. McCanch had returned voluntarily to Britain to admit her part in the offences. A professed Christian, her Bible has been her constant companion during ten months in custody on remand. When she was arrested at Heathrow last November, five suicide letters were found in her luggage. In a letter to the court she wrote: “I will carry this to my grave.”

Also in the dock were Archibald Wood, her former lover, and Steven Horton, the man who had provided two children, aged 12 and 13, for the trio to subject to what police say was “horrific abuse” over a six-hour period one afternoon in June 2005.

Wood, 60, is an Oxford law graduate who spent 19 years in the Army, serving in the Falklands and Northern Ireland, before working for the Ministry of Defence in Whitehall.

He had had a long sexual relationship with McCanch, unknown to her husband, which involved group-sex parties and pornography.

At the time of his arrest last year, he was chairman of the board of governors at Tavistock Community College in Devon — a post that required him to have child protection training — and a governor of a primary school. He admitted nine offences, including arranging child sex abuse and distributing indecent images of children, and asked for seventeen others to be taken into consideration. He was jailed for six years.

Horton, 44, from Sittingbourne, Kent, is a father who worked as a warehouse supervisor and was a regular on his local golf course and an enthusiastic five-a-side footballer. He admitted 28 offences ranging from child rape, sexual assault and arranging the commission of child sex offences to distributing indecent images. The judge imposed an indeterminate sentence on him and said he would serve 5½years before being considered for parole.

Afterwards Detective Superintendent David Shipley, of the Kent Police public protection crime unit, said: “The public perception of the paedophile is the dirty old man in a mac with big round glasses and living at home with his mother. These offenders were seemingly respectable, professional people. You wouldn’t look at them twice if you walked past them in the street.”

Horton was the starting point for Operation Starlight, which is still unearthing new offenders and is seeing its reach spread around the world. Six children living in Britain have been rescued from abusive situations, but images of their ordeals have been distributed through paedophile chat rooms and newsgroups, prompting criminal investigations as far afield as Slovenia and Venezuela.

The Kent police investigation followed an electronic evidence trail from Horton’s computer to that of Vincent Jordan, from Worsley, Manchester. Jordan, 47, lived an outwardly respectable life as a father of two small daughters with a job as an IT consultant. But late at night, when his wife and children were asleep, Jordan logged on to a chatroom called Taboo Incest and became the puppetmaster of a network of paedophiles who abused children in accordance with his detailed instructions.

Online, he posed as a woman who was prepared to offer her own children for sex if his chat-room contacts could prove through deeds and pictures that they were genuine abusers. To please Jordan — who will be sentenced next month after admitting 20 offences — paedophiles across Britain sent pictures and videos of their sadistic assaults which he compiled in a private library.

Horton became one of the puppets, regularly arranging the sexual abuse of three children at Jordan’s behest. His activity was eventually discovered when his partner stumbled upon e-mails between him and Jordan arranging a liaison to abuse children and the investigation began.

Nathaniel Benjamin Levi Bar-Jonah (born David P. Brown on February 15, 1957, in Worcester, Massachusetts) is a convicted felon currently serving a 130-year prison sentence without the possibility of parole in Montana after being convicted of kidnapping, aggravated assault, and sexual assault of multiple children. Though he was never convicted of the charges, he was also suspected of murder and cannibalism.

I'm talking about people such as Suffolk Superior Court Judge Walter Steele, who once had the power to keep a dangerous pedophile of the worst imaginable kind, behind bars. In 1991, Nathaniel Bar-Jonah, now a suspected serial killer and cannibal living in Montana, stood before him asking for release. He was then doing time for five felony charges of kidnapping, impersonating a police officer and attempted murder.

Bar-Jonah has most recently been charged with the murder of a 10-year-old boy and numerous other assaults on children. The skeletal remains of at least one child were found scattered around outside his Montana home.

Bar-Jonah, who was called David Brown until the early 1990s, served more than a decade in Massachusetts prisons and treatment centers. He was there for the kidnapping and attempted murder of two boys in Massachusetts in the late 1970s.

At the 1991 hearing before Judge Steele, two psychiatrists said he was still a danger to society, two said he was not. Steele, who must be a gambling man, sided with the two who thought Bar-Jonah would not victimize again. They cited such cockamamie reasons as Bar-Jonah's improved self-esteem, thanks to a job in the canteen at the Bridgewater, Mass., treatment center where he was held, and courses in journalism and religion.

What the two psychiatrists who argued against his release told Judge Steele was that Bar-Jonah had sexual fantasies about human dissection and cannibalism. Gosh, Judge Steele, don't you know that when someone tells you who they are you should listen to them? More to the point, when the safety of little kids is at stake, why would you take such a stupid gamble?

If you can believe it, this story gets worse. Just a few months after he was paroled in 1991, Bar-Jonah was arrested again -- this time he was charged with attacking a 7-year-old boy in Oxford, Mass. Back to jail, right? Wrong, because of a plea-bargain arrangement with Judge Sarkus Teshonian of Dudley District Court, Bar-Jonah was simply allowed to go to Montana to live with his mother. Did anyone bother to tell Montana authorities he was coming? Nah, why bother? The family of the little boy who Bar-Jonah attacked in Oxford rejected this plea-bargain arrangement numerous times when it was offered. Finally, they have said, it was forced on them.

At the time, Bar-Jonah's mother promised he would never hurt anybody again. Newsflash: Isn't this the same lady who raised this wacko to begin with? If she were able to control his behavior, why didn't she do it when he was younger? More to the point, Bar-Jonah is a grown man and he is the one who should be held responsible for his behavior, not his Mommy.

Right. Lapis posted a very interesting story about an experience she had with a neighbor that was possessed. This demon tormented her, via her neighbor, for four years!

I'd like to quote Lapis's story:

Long ugly story short, my Mom owned and lived in that house since 1972. I moved in with her in 1991. We were forced to sell it (the morgage was long paid off, no rent ect) in June 2004. From 1995 through 2004 I completely wallpapered and painted the inside of the house and many other things, painted the outside of the house, dug up all the old landscape, spent every dollar I had on new trees, plants, fountain grasses (red fountain just like what you have Phoenix), bamboo, attached reed fencing to the chain link fence for more privacy, built lattace panels and bought a large fountain and on and on. But now, it's Show Time in the worst of ways!

The one brother started drinking when he woke up in the morning, did speed when he could get it, and.......played his drums while tweaking on meth. For 4 YEARS. The dogs got chained up as close to our house as they could get them and they barked for around 15 hours a day. When the young pit bull wasn't barking, the one guy was drumming for 4-7 hours a day. They shot guns at us from about 20 feet away.....the cops did nothing year after year after year. All this with my senses totally maxed out and in the red zone anyway! I lived with earplugs in the house. When I called the police about the many problems with these guys, I was the one who they blamed and threatened because I wasn't a threat to the cops like the insane gun toting guys next door where. It was a no-win situation for those 4 years and I was under psychic attack and didn't even know it because I was so open anyway due to the severe ascension symptoms. You think it can't get any worse and it does, and it does again and again and I honestly almost didn't physically and emotionally survive. My Mom worried I'm have a break down because of the constant negativity and psychic and physical attacks from the guys and their unseen demonic entity.

Then one day I realized I was having foreign thoughts, thoughts that were very monotone and I knew I was in deep deep shit. I realized it was the demon inserting certain thoughts and suggestions because I'm very conscious of how I think and feel. I did a protection ritual that night after 3.5 years of getting beaten half to death, and within hours the entity revealed itself to me. I'd won, I'd passed the Initation, I'd survived barely, I'd done all the things I was supposed to do like call the police whom I hate and disrespect because they're no different than the neighbors for the most part! I'd faced all my personal fears repeatedly because of these neighbors and their invisible demonic female entity. I'd survived and it was time for us to move. That level of my personal Initiation was finished, we'd anchored the portal on and around Mom's property, faced my own fears repeatedly, and now we needed to release it all and sell the place. We sold it easily and moved into where we are now.

Some times these crazy, insane, unfair, brutal things and people that get put into our lives for a few minutes or years NOW are about us resolving polarity both in us and around us in the other people. In my case I needed a little shit demon attached to a pathetic guy to really take things to the limit because I never want to forget what polarity feels and looks like! Its about Light and Dark (polarity) beating the holy shit out of each other until we learn to vibrate ascend beyond it. When we've done or learned whatever it was that we were supposed to, its often time to move to a new place for the next phase etc etc.

Sorry for the long post but I now understand why I've not had the time to email you. All this had to happen first so I could finally share my Dark Night of the Soul and have it make sense to different people. It's a "process" and some of us have to go far deeper than others with it as I did. You won't and it's wonderful that you're energies alone turned that guy around and got him out of "your higher energetic space".

Another thing happened at about the 3 year mark with that possessed neighbor's little unseen puppet master demon. At that time I had a dear girlfriend who I shared most everything with. She knew about our ongoing problems with the neighbors/barking dog/7 hour drumming meth sessions/the many contacts with the police and most all of it. What I DIDN'T tell her about was that the demon had finally psychically revealed itself to me deliberately and what it looked like. I felt she didn't need to carry that image around in her head, so I didn't tell her and wouldn't have.

Then one day she called me to tell me about this weird dream she'd had a couple nights earlier. She told me her dream, and got to the part where she described this woman in the dream suddenly shapeshifting into a female demon looking thing, and she described it exactly as what I knew the possessed neighbor's demon looked it! I about lost it when I heard this. Without her knowing that this demon even existed and was the unseen cause of all the hell and misery I and my Mom had been living with for 3 years, she described it with every detail correct. I started crying because her dream was really a message from that entity to me, letting me know that it wasn't over yet! This is common with negative entities, if they run out of emotional energetic juice from one person or are cut off psychically, they'll make contact with that person's loved ones to keep the battle going.

I was forced to tell her the truth about the existence of the female demon and the whole story but I also was forced to break off our friendship for about 2 years ONLY to try and safeguard her from what I was going through. She and I had a strong psychic connection and this entity would have continued messing with her, so I ended our friendship. It was a good thing because she got pregnant only a few months later for the first time! But after we'd sold the house and moved, the battle was over on all levels. I waited another year and then this girlfriend and I reconnected, with her new baby, and I spilled my guts about it all. She said she didn't have any other dreams after that first one with the demon so thank god it all worked out just fine.

For me back then Phoenix, it was very helpful to spend 4 - 6 hours every few days outside in the sunlight getting muddy and dirty planting plants and moving boulders around! I think it helped me stay grounded and alive during everything I was going through. Afterwards I've go in the house and crawl into bed with severe "ascension flu" symptoms and shiver and ache like mad for hours. Life....isn't 3D polarity reality one hell of a place to experience the absolute best and worst of things? It's wonderful watching this polarity being resolved by us, in us, through us.

Holy crap I just discovered this thread. Yeah the Dark...in all its many forms.

Opposite Aquarius is Leo and one of the things Leo has to do with is children. Our "inner child", our physical offspring, our creative children or ideas that come from our hearts and minds and not just our loins. Creativity in it's highest forms.

Squaring or at cross points - X - to Aquarius/Leo is Scorpio/Taurus which are the 4 "Fixed" signs. Anyhoo my point is that "Virgins and Fishes" (Virgo/Pisces) ain't the deal anymore so we're seeing the Dark adapt, like it always does because it knows, and USE the new Aquarius/Leo energies now present. "I didn't want to sleep with him, but he forced me to. He hit me, insulted me."

But what happened evokes anger and shame. Asked if what she went through was torture, she nods quietly.

Nujood's parents married her off in February to a man in his 30s whom she describes as old and ugly.

"When I heard, my heart burned for her; he wasn't supposed to sleep with her," said Nujood's mother, who asked not to be identified.

In his jail cell, he draws all over the walls. The images include spirals, a pyramid, and a large and small stick figure holding hands with the rays of the sun above them.

The heart within the heart is a symbol invented by Ray, who is a PR executive. He wants to get a company or companies to donate free drugs (TB drug is an example) and then get this LOGO on their products, showing that they have a heart.

I don't know what to make of this movie. It is NOT about child abuse, yet the symbols crop up, and it is very suggestive about the "past" of the characters.
