He was going to appear on Celebrity Big Brother 5 actually instead of that wag airhead and the punk 'singer'. Just think what Jade would of made of him?????????? That family would be giving him disrespect as well.
I think he would of stuck up for Shilpa and had an intelligent talk with Ken Russell, but unfortunately the programme makers did not want him. They thought he was too 'weird'.

Yes we knew he had been asked

A few months ago I was approached by the makers of the British television 'reality' show, Big Brother, to appear on their 'celebrity' version currently running on Channel 4. I said 'no' and it has turned out to be a good decision.

Best off he didn't....

In a house full of idiots like that, with an audience full of idiots?

Nah....

I think it would be fun.
He would have a captive audience!
And we were all 'idiots' once ;)
Not that I watch BB but if David Icke was in it
I would make an exception.

To i am, I was not a premier subscriber than, I joined up at Sept 07.
But I did read in his book, that if he did go into Big Brother, he would of created new audiences to spread a message.

I think it could have been hilarious but these shows only show what they want to show and make people look like idiots :(

David Icke stated in one of his books that if he did go into the house, he would of reached a bigger audience, but he was glad he didn't go.
I was sad he did not go into that house, he would of been very popular.
You need the popular press and TV to get a message through.

Yeah but there would be little point i think as the editing department would just edit him to look like a weirdo, cutting out actual facts that he states and cut to clips where he says 'the royals are reptilians' and that'd be the end of that- until the media are in the hands of real journalists and truth seekers there'd be little point in him joining BB, they might let him in for the 1st few days then rig the votes so he gets voted out 1st and then he's not created too much publicity and he's been 'silenced' before he's said anything that might gain himself some credibility!!

I think David is too good to be in a show like that.

That was the exact thing icke said in his book, but seriously the BB people would of edited him for the highlight shows, but for the live feed they would of dubbed some background noise whilst he was truth seeking.
I still think he would of been treated with no respect by other hms, like jade and family, who is now destroyed by that organisation.
The popular press and TV shows are very important to get a message through. I would of backed Icke.

Hehe I'm personally glad he didn't, as I couldn't think of anything worse & I still wouldn't watch it even if he was on there!! Although I'm sure a certain person in the Editing Dept wouldn't have let that happen, *wink wink*, lol!!!;););)

Unfortunately, that certain person in the editing department (wink, wink, nudge, nudge ;)) has a boss to answer to also......and I feel the entire thing could have lead to BIG TROUBLE on BIG BROTHER ....possibly with an editor and a celebrity walking off the job in disgust. :D

Personally I'm just extremely pleased David turned BB down....it certainly wasn't an opportunity worth risking the credibility he has worked hard to gain over these past few years.

The right man in the right place....
Not the right place for David,
although he might have made people become aware at least for a couple of hours, thery'll wake up once they read his new book, and all the others.
As you say Tinmenace, "he's too good for a show like that"
absolutly right. The truth will get to people in different ways and better energies....
INFINITE LOVE

Absolutely, there is no way the media would allow Davids points, views, comments to come across as credible. I believe they want him in their show to discredit his theories and beliefs. What better chance to rubbish someones views than to show them on TV to be no more than CRANKS.

just another brainless moron who thinks shes angel, with her wings, lol who mind is no deeper than a puddle

Right. Who would willingly put themselves into a situation of potential ridicule? Unless of course their radar is wired for money.

to gremlin, I have read the newsletter about cbb5 and he stated Shilpa was very wise to forgive and forget. She was a spoilt brat, but she said a great truth to that troll jade - YOUR CLAIM TO FAME IS THIS.
But Icke being in it would created a new audience and new fms.
Me and my pals backed Shilpa cos it was two fingers to Channel 4, and there was even a large posse outside which the police stopped from storming in that house.
