Alex Jones isn't in the spotlight even nearly as much as Craig would suggest. Jones has done ALOT to get himself in the limelight, it didn't happen by itself and it wasn't done for him. Jones did appear on one of the major networks to do about a 5 minute interview some time 2 years ago, the story got alot of publicity, was posted and viewed alot on the various websites, but the tv channel dropped the story the next day and the guy who interviewed Jones was moved from his job. It is mostly through his websites and his own efforts that Jones gets publicity, his movies like Terrorstorm. Jones is very vocal. Some people like Craig will lead you to believe Alex Jones has been appearing on mainstream newsmedia regularly for a long time. Much of it sounds like jealousy.
I am not saying Craig isn't correct in what he suggests about Jones being "one of them", but much of what is said about Jones is crap and is ignoring the fact that the guy has done ALOT of publicity, has internet sites, videos and goes out bullhorning, got into Bohemian Grove etc, etc. Craig will try to compare Jones popularity with Phelps and suggests that because Phelps isn't as widely known as Jones that Jones must be one of them, which is an illogical bs arguement to make. It ignores the fact that Jones has done alot to get himself widely known. You don't see Phelps doing even a fraction as much to get publicity, he isn't outside WTC bullhorning people and making movies that are linked on so many "conspiracy" sites. In fact it is even a total bullshit comparison to make. The only time I have seen Phelps on youtube was doing a documentary, that had alot of interesting details but lets be honest, it was very boringly presented and lacked any kind of energy and definitetly was not made with any kind of effort to get alot of attention. Compare that approach with Jones approach, Jones grabs attention.

Phelps website is very different to Jones also, and will be alot less interesting and is presented very differently to others.

Craig has some very good info on his site, but if he took a very different approach then he would probably get alot more registrations.

Craig has also come onto this website to attack David Icke and to pose the question, why go to Icke when you can go to people like Maxwell and Tsarion, etc. He attacks Icke needlessly as he feels some of Ickes work has been inspired by those and others. At the same time almost all Craigs info is direct copy&paste from Eric Phelps. If Craig can't see the hypocrisy of that then he is very deluded, if to follow Craigs own advice then nobody would g to his site for info on the SMOM, they would go direct to Phelps. And anyone who spends time needlessly attacking people will always come across very badly. Craigs site spends far too much time focusing on labeling people like Jones, Icke, Russo and so on Temporal Coadjutors. When relating to journalists it would be far more useful if he was to focus the mainstream media and highlight their corruption. Craigs apporach isn't doing his credibility any favours.

A group of protesters broke through the security cordon and forced their way into the Oxford Union last night, throwing a planned talk by BNP leader Nick Griffin and controversial historian David Irving into disarray.

After pushing and shoving their way through the doors into the hall at 8.45pm they staged a sit down protest at the debating table.

Scuffles erupted as the protesters tried to get into the building which had been surrounded by tight security ahead of the event.

Earlier, hundreds of noisy protesters surrounded the Oxford Union.

The Oxford Union has been under significant pressure to cancel the freedom of speech event at which the two are guest speakers.

Chanting, waving placards and singing, the crowd that gathered to object to their presence at the debating society was considerably larger than the handful of students inside the Union.

The rally organisers, including Unite Against Fascism and Oxford-based community groups, had hoped at least 1,000 people would turn up in their support. But estimates put the crowd numbers at closer to 500.

Those arriving for the event had to get past heavy security and faced jeers of "shame on you".

The debate was "temporarily postponed" when police moved in to remove the protestors, before it finally started at 10pm, with speakers split into two groups for safety.


It was considered by university authorities to be too dangerous to walk Mr Griffin and Mr Irving across the quadrangle between the main Union building and the debating hall.

Instead Mr Irving spoke alongside broadcaster and author Anne Atkins and Liberal Democrat MP Evan Harris in the debating hall while Mr Griffin was among debaters speaking in the main Union building.

The decision to invite Griffin and Irving, made after a vote among members of the debating society, has outraged equalities watchdog chief Trevor Phillips and prompted a senior Tory MP to resign his life membership of the Union.

Shadow defence minister Julian Lewis said the students should be "ashamed" of themselves.

In a letter to the Union's officers and standing committee, Dr Lewis, MP for New Forest East, said he was resigning his life membership "with great sadness".

In his resignation letter, he said: "Nothing which happens in the debate can possibly offset the boost you are giving to a couple of scoundrels who can put up with anything except being ignored."

The presence of the pair on the list of speakers prompted a series of high profile withdrawals from the platform, including Defence Secretary Des Browne.

Martin McCluskey, president of the Oxford Student Union, said it was "disgraceful" the pair were being given the same platform as past speakers who include Mother Theresa and the Dalai Lama.

Liberal Democrat MP Evan Harris, who is billed to speak at the event, said banning Mr Griffin and Mr Irving would risk turning "bigots into martyrs".

The Oxford Union Debating Society is a separate body from the Oxford University Student's Union and the university. It has said it was important to give people of all views a platform.

Mr Griffin, who was convicted in 1998 for incitement to racial hatred for material denying the Holocaust, has repeatedly insisted the BNP is not a racist group.

Mr Irving has insisted he was not a Holocaust denier - despite spending three years in prison in Austria for the crime.

On Monday, Home Secretary Jacqui Smith said she "thoroughly deplores" their views.

But Ms Smith, an Oxford graduate, said it was up to the debating society to make its own decision about allowing Irving and Griffin to attend the freedom of speech event.

"They have been exposed and discredited time and again by people vastly more qualified than you in arenas hugely more suited to the task than an undergraduate talking-shop, however venerable."

George Galloway is to stand on an "Old Labour" ticket for the London Assembly in another attempt to form a new political force after splitting from Respect, the left-wing coalition that he helped to found.

The maverick MP, who fell out with the anti-war coalition after forming the breakaway group "Respect Renewal" and holding an "alternative conference" last November, is to stand for the elections in May as part of an as-yet-unnamed "progressive list".

The MP for Bethnal Green and Bow has been at the centre of a series of internal splits within Respect, which formed in 2004. He has been opposed by sections of the Socialist Worker Party who – along with critics on the right – accuse him of alliances with "radical Islamists".

The divisions go back to the 2005 general election, when Mr Galloway managed against the odds to defeat the Labour MP Oona King, overturning her 10,000-strong majority to win by 823 votes. The campaign was dogged by claims of dirty tricks. Supporters of Ms King – who backed the Iraq invasion – accused Mr Galloway's supporters of anti-Semitism after some groups highlighted the fact that his opponent was part-Jewish.

There was confusion last night as to whether Mr Galloway was officially still a member of Respect. He claimed that he was, according to a report on the BBC website. But John Rees, the general secretary, emphatically denied Mr Galloway was a member. "He effectively left last November when he held a rival conference," Mr Rees said. "If you stand on a slate against Respect you must be a rival organisation."

Mr Galloway could not be contacted last night.

Respect said it was not informed of Mr Galloway's latest breakaway move.

Asked about the attitude of Respect members towards Mr Galloway, Mr Rees cited the MP's appearance in the television programme Celebrity Big Brother and said: "George wasn't very accountable. [He] wasn't really willing to work collectively with people... There were always disagreements."

Mr Galloway – who was thrown out of Labour in 2003 and originally pledged to leave the Commons at the next election – is said to be planning to contest the redrawn seat of Poplar and Limehouse at the next election, challenging the Transport minister, Jim Fitzpatrick.

Mr Galloway is rarely seen at Westminster. He was thrown out of the Commons for 18 days in July last year during a debate over the decision by the Committee for Standards and Privileges to censure him over the use of taxpayer-funded facilities. Continuing his speech to the media outside, he said: "Being lectured by the current House of Commons on the question of funding political campaigns is like being accused of having bad taste by Donald Trump; [or] like being accused of slouching by the Hunchback of Notre Dame."

US officials have arrested an indicted real estate developer and political fundraiser who has made contributions to Obama's campaigns.

His contributions now have subjected the Democratic White House hopeful to criticism from his chief rival, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The US Attorney's office and FBI Agent Tom Simon confirmed Monday real estate developer and fast food magnate Antoin "Tony" Rezko's arrest at his home in a suburb of Chicago, but would not discuss the reasoning behind the government's bail revocation motion.

Rezko, who according to MSNBC has pleaded not guilty to charges of fraud, attempted extortion and money laundering, was taken into custody after his $2 million (euro1.36 million) bail was revoked.

Obama has since sought to distance himself from Rezko, even as Clinton invoked Rezko's name and his "slum lord business" during a recent debate.

Rezko had long been a fundraiser for Obama who has been accused of no wrongdoing involving Rezko or anyone else.
