Hey everyone,
If you get a moment, I would like you to let me know what genre you think my track "Enthymeme" would fall under.
Right now I am going under the genre "ambient," but after listening to other people's "ambient" work, I'm wondering if that is really what I mean. I actually only own one "ambient" album which I'm not reallly too crazy about. It's all well and good to tell people, "I don't sound like anyone else," or, "just listen to the tunes and YOU decide." The problem is, not many people are going to care to check it out if they don't know in advance that they may be interested in it. Thus, I feel it is important to give the prospective listener some sort of general idea what they are in for or else they most likely will not even push the "play" button.
The links are in my signature below. Also, if you could comment on "who I sound like," (based on the Enthymeme track) that would be greatly appreciated.
