They had a much darker sound back then , more menacing .I thought they showed good potential and was suprised by the change in direction towards dance music . :D Pity the tv cuts off before the end . i do have copy on mp3 but its from vinyl to tape to mp3 so not the best quality . i sold off the originals should of kept them . :o you tube may have a better version of the full audio , you can download program to grab audio from you tube etc i did have one of those as well on old pc , so check it out if you need a copy of it .

At the gig in the video I had to rely on the goodwill of the inhouse engineer who had onyl just met us that afternoon but on the recorded songs I use a lot of different effects and vocal layering so I've been exploring different ideas for transporting that onstage...there are a few dedicated units that you can set up the song order (delay for verse, reverb for chorus etc) on each footswitch and the time of delay etc but I'm not sure whether they need triggering with a guitar and I don't play onstage. Although, the guitarists could trigger it, perhaps. I'm still foraging through my music tech mags :D

LOL Lou Reed had it right, all I do is listen to the mistakes :p When I listen to tracks I have no input in with the production, it drives me mad when they use a take I didn't like but that's the nature of the game, I guess. As long as clients are happy I should be too!

i typed live effect delay and came up with 5 mil results on google. :confused:

thinking about it now the device could of been applied to anything delay reverb tremolo phaser etc it was some touch sensitive device and i'm guessing the tecchie was hired for the tour as the delays were spot on in every song.

but yeah yours was really a strong performance i was half expecting you to jump off stage and punch some bloke in the face.....now that would of been brilliant :D :D

Dont you just hate that ! especially when you discover a good book band film etc , you want everyone to experience it . then when they do its like grrr its mine leave it alone will you . :D
Yes had a listen to that would be good to hear it in better sound quality but the whole lyrics music sounded better compared to live version . Then again thats sound engineers for you . recal a disasterous gig a mate did when he was in the ponderosa glee boys at kirklands wine bar . The sound man didnt like one of the band for some reason and the whole gig sounded awful ! wonder why . it put a lot of people off the band at the time .
