View Full Version : Giving Yahweh a fair shake

Hi all. Been meaning to say something about this...

I am writing because of the drubbing I have seen YHWH take on this forum. Yes, it’s a very prevalent view that Yahweh is a control freak, that He is an egomaniac, that He is chauvinistic in the extreme. The list goes on and on about all His purported bad attributes. Since He doesn’t use computers, I am taking it upon myself to defend His character and honor.

Firstly, we must realize that a person’s reputation is not the same thing as the person. If you had a reputation for being cruel to animals and it were not true, you wouldn’t like it. If there were a bunch of idiots in your town torturing animals and then telling the authorities that you had told them it was fun to torture animals, you would be outraged! This is the position in which Yahweh has been since around 1900 years ago, when the last remnant of the people who truly represented His heart toward humanity died off, and the Gnostic Nicolaitans finally conquered. Yes, they conquered! Their lampstand was extinguished and taken away, and just as it was predicted in the Revelation, they didn’t know at what hour he (Yahshua, acting on behalf of Yahweh) came to remove it. They have been going on in pretense ever since, teaching that believing (mentally) is more important than loving (which proves true belief). Thus the reputation of Yahweh has been denigrated by the church ever since, with bloody crusades and oppression and unspeakable acts of butchery.

The same goes for the Jews, except their history is longer, and they have had more time to connive a means to gain the world by treachery, rather than by the trust that was their true heritage. They (the Zionists) are behind the ecumenical movement which they will eventually destroy “in an hour” when it has helped their satanic “despot king” into position. Read in 2 Kings 10:15-28 how this will be accomplished.

Yahweh’s reputation has been damaged, but His heart is the same as it always has been. His will, or let me say, desire (which so many say is oppressive and offensive) is that His children would Love one another and Him, as it is impossible to love the creation and not the Creator, and vice versa. That’s it. It is very simple. You can see this all through the Bible. In the law of Moses you can read that Yahweh wanted Israel to make sure widows and orphans were cared for by leaving the edge of their fields for them. He originally wanted all the tribes to be a priesthood for Him, to intercede for all of mankind. But only Moses’ own tribe was willing to cross the line in the sand, and so the other 11 tribes renounced their birthright, to belong solely to Yahweh, to show his love to all nations. They were more concerned about their own petty affairs. But those tricky Hebrews, they found legal loopholes for everything, eventually. Their hearts have, on the whole, never been in it. I’m trying to make this as concise as possible. If anyone wishes for more detail on anything, ask.

The most damaging lie
The worst teaching to ever be foisted upon an unsuspecting world was the heresy of two eternal destinies. That is to say, that there is one group of people (Christians, naturally) who are going to heaven and everyone else (the filthy heathen) goes to hell. This teaching came into vogue rather early on (in church history), and when Augustine was still alive, there was still considerable debate over it.

The Truth
The fact of the matter, according to my beliefs, and the beliefs of my people, is that the infinitely Loving Creator, who actually IS Love personified, will judge all men according to how they have loved (or chosen not to love) their fellow human beings. Gratuitous mercy will be shown, as people are only responsible to live up to the standard they themselves know. For example, a woman who grew up in a terrible, abusive home will not be judged by the same standard as a man who had good parents who disciplined him and taught him to respect others and to be kind.

Three Eternal Destinies?
There are three eternal destinies. The first two, the righteous and the wicked, are pretty easy to understand. The righteous inherit eternal life in the new universe, and basically get to live a forever and ever life in peace, with no one to make them afraid. They will tend their trees and animals and have festivals and dancing, and great social events all the time. The wicked will inherit eternal existence in the place prepared for the accuser and his messengers. This is a not-fun place to be, as it is full of violent, self-seeking, disrespectful brutes who will destroy each other continually (in immortal bodies) forever. This all in a huge hole in the crust of the earth, with the magma underneath exposed. They will not be able to force their selfish will upon another ever again. Why a hole? So that the innumerable children who will be born in that future age can be taught of the consequences of selfishness. Why not just annihilate them all? Because spirit cannot be destroyed.

Death
Death is a place of discipline. It is where all people go when they die, unless they have knowingly rejected the truth. (this is the unforgivable sin of “blasphemy against the Holy Spirit”, calling good evil) If someone has it in them to receive the just discipline for their acts of selfishness, enough integrity of character, then they will receive a new everlasting life.

At this point I would like to remind everyone that I am only presenting information for discussion, if anyone is so inclined.

The Holy

Then there is another group. The holy. The word holy means “set apart”. It does not mean “elevated”, nor does it mean “better”. The holy are mostly people who were destined for the fate of the wicked through their choices, but wanted to change. They believe in Yahshua’s substitution for them in the place of death, and in the Lake of Fire (the hole I mentioned before). He was able to do this because he was sinless himself. Sin is selfishness. Love is selflessness. Sin separates us from our Creator. He Loved us so much he sent Yahshua (literally meaning “Yah’s Salvation”) to teach us how to live in Love, and to be a substitute for us in death and/or the lake of fire. They are bond-servants, who have forfeited the “right” to live as they please in order to bring about the end of evil. They do this out of joy and gratitude for the new life that they have been given, the new chance to have a life of love. They will bring the end of evil by presenting the entire world with a real choice to live in love or to live in selfishness.

The life of the holy is not meant for everyone. It is impossible for the holy to exist, for instance, without servants in the governments, and friends among their neighbors. The holy do not judge anyone or say that those who do not become one of them will go on to burn in hell. This is a demonic teaching that Augustine pushed. The holy will set the record straight, restoring Yahweh’s reputation and place in the minds and hearts of all men as the God of Love.

i feel pretty holy, by that definition. i live out in the country, and everytime i go to the megamall or wal-mart these days, i get the hives! :D

that seems very similar to the definition of a bodhisattva: a being who has delayed their own "enlightenment" for the benefit of all sentient beings.

what if everyone of us is already enlightened Being, here to serve the reppies and show them the futility of living in darkness?

what if humans are actually far superior to the predators in almost every way that counts. that we are set apart, in some way, from these parasitic entities that can only take, but never give?

what could that essence be, that sets us apart? how are we truly different?

something to ponder.

that would kind of put a heroic spin on all our trials and tribulations in this dimension, wouldn't it? :)

Hey bud! Guess what happened in the month-plus since I wrote that?

I was disabused of my religious predilections! :D

So yeah, Yahweh get behind me! I'm with you! Reading Acharya S's website was the best thing I have done in the last 18 years.

So now I have to be RESPONSIBLE for my own "sins" and pay my own way. Now that I am not afraid of missing my one shot at heaven, I can get down to the business of evolving!

Cheers, mate!

and i respect that choice. it is empowering, because you are making it. you'll know in an instant if it's a path with heart, or otherwise. just keep listening. :)

i just need to add one more thing, in love and service. what if responsibility is simply being able, to respond. not taking the blame. i used to think that, until it finally hit me that if responsibility meant sins, i must believe in sin. what does that mean? it means missing the mark, to me. something happened.

the same thing applies to others "sins" against me. something happened, and i forgive. you can't have forgiveness with permanent stains in a relationship. we either let go of sin or we don't. i prefer a radical non-dual approach. here's a prayer i say all the time. it's from the "course in miracles".

"You're not really there. If I think you are guilty or the cause of the problem, and if I made you up, then the imagined guilt and fear must be in me.

"Since the separation from God never occurred, I forgive both of us for what we haven't really done.

"Now there is only Innocence, and I join with the Holy Spirit in Peace."

i carry this on a card in my wallet. it helps.
