'Life is becoming more violent for children in the Palestinian Territory. By the end of 2006 more than 120 children had died due to the conflict, more than double the number of child deaths in 2005. Many more have been injured, some for life.'

Two Palestinian children seriously injured in Israeli raid on Jenin
'Two Palestinian children were injured in Jenin in the northern West Bank on Thursday morning, when an Israeli unit besieged a group of Al-Quds Brigades militants in a building in the east of the city.
One child was shot in the head as he made his way to school. He was taken to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, Israel. His identity has not yet been revealed.'

Four dead and eleven injured in Israeli incursion in Khan Younis
More than 13 Israeli tanks, along with bulldozers went into the
Al-Qarara area in south east Khan Younis through the Kissufim crossing
and began firing on agricultural lands and houses under the cover of
helicopter fire and aerial reconnaissance, eyewitnesses reported.
The eyewitnesses confirmed that the Israeli army and members of the
Special Forces began to raid homes, searching them and destroying their
contents, but did not make any arrests.
