I will end war as president, says heckled Hillary
'Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton was heckled at the DNC winter
meeting by audience members who are unhappy with her stance on the war
in Iraq. Clinton, who voted in 2002 to give President Bush the right to use
force to overthrow the Saddam Hussein regime, spoke today of the
non-binding resolution that will appear before the Senate next week as
the first time the Democrats will "tell the president, 'no!'" However, her speech was nearly derailed by a handful of guests in
attendance shouting "make it binding!" and "how about you bring them
home."'
That's what she tells a Democrat audience because that is what will get them to support her. But when she spoke to the Israel lobby group in the US, the American Israel Public Affairs
Committee, she told them that no option can be 'taken off the table' in dealing with Iran because that is what will get them to support her.
Clinton: Iran is a threat to Israel
'"U.S.
policy must be clear and unequivocal: We cannot, we should not, we must
not permit Iran to build or acquire nuclear weapons," Clinton told a
crowd of Israel supporters. "In dealing with this threat ... no option
can be taken off the table."'
