Bush predicts courts will uphold security wiretaps
'Stung by a judge's ruling, President George W Bush said on Friday he expects US courts to uphold his belief that a National Security Agency eavesdropping program does not violate US civil rights.
At a news conference, Bush said he strongly disagreed with a ruling on Thursday by US District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor in Detroit that wiretaps under the Terrorist Surveillance Program violated freedom of speech, protections against unreasonable searches and a constitutional check on the power of the presidency.'
