Underage drinkers targeted through 'anti-terrorist' laws
'Inspector Neil Mutch in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, said: "It is one way of trying to keep kids out of clubs. The act was brought out for terrorism but it suits us very nicely."
But children and legal campaigners fear the youngsters could end up with Criminal Record Bureau checks ruining future careers.'
How about 'anti-terrorism' laws to stop police officers like Mutch from such blatant abuse of power?
Police respond to 999 call by sending text message
'A couple who rang police to report a burglary were told to investigate themselves - by text.
Lloyd and Suzanne Bishop phoned 999 at 5am when they spotted a raider breaking into a neighbour's padlocked shed and then escaping over a fence.
But they were stunned an hour later when police sent a text asking them to investigate the break-in.'
