Brixton 2008 (and a great song about the times we live in)

Hi,

Firstly, I was at Brixton on Saturday and thought it was an awesome talk of so much information that should be known to all. [David] is a great inspiration and I, as well as friends of mine have learnt so much from this time and the last talk he did at the Academy.

Secondly, something I spotted at this presentation was an image that we put into a music video last year to a song I had written called 'Start The Revolution'. The image shown was the last actual image in this video.The band I am in is called Red Dollar and we made this video to try and explain what the song was about as a quite a few people did not know just from listening to the lyrics.

So we tried to create a video that could maybe explain this a bit more and after seeing one of the images on Saturday at Brixton, I thought I would forward the link – may not be your preferred taste of music!!!

It hasn’t made us global rock gods but has certainly had a few people changing their thought process.

And without seeing the show in 2006, I probably wouldn’t have written this track at all so thanks so much for opening my/our eyes.
