How thoughtful ...
The Prisoner Society based in Palestine presented an official request
to Israeli legal advisors to provide humanitarian conditions for the
prisoner Al Zuq who is due to give birth this month. The Israelis
accepted the request of the Society and have said the prisoner will not
be blindfolded or handcuffed during her transfer to the hospital for
giving birth. They also said she will not be handcuffed to the bed
during the birth as has happened in previous cases.
Palestinian mother-of-six is held for year by Israelis without charge
'Detainee Nour Al Hashlamoon started an open ended hunger strike on December 18 after the Ofer Israeli military court renewed her administrative detention for the sixth consecutive time without any charges pressed against her.
Al Hashlamoon was kidnapped by the Israeli army on September 16 2006, and no charges were ever pressed against her since then.
She is a mother of six children and is suffered from a kidney disease. Her husband, Mohammad, has also been under administrative detention since June 19, 2006.'
