Russia Proposes Resolution on Syria to UN Security Council

'Russia has proposed to the UN Security Council a resolution on Syria that includes no threat of sanctions against Damascus.Russian Deputy UN Ambassador Igor Pankin said on Tuesday that the draft resolution had been sent to the 14 other members of the Security Council. Pankin also stated that the proposed resolution would extend the UN observer mission in Syria.'
