'On Friday evening, explosions were heard and a huge fire broke out in the area of a weapons depot, according to Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency.

Earlier in the day, two soldiers and one passerby were injured when rival factions from the Sunni neighborhood of Bab al-Tebbaneh and the Alawi neighborhood of Jebal Mohsen of Tripoli fired rocket-propelled grenades at each other.

After the incidents, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati told the head of the army to “take necessary measures to halt these events” in the city.'
