UK Politicians Blamed for Hacking Crisis

'Ian Hislop, editor of the Private Eye magazine, told to Leveson inquiry that the controversial relationships of the UK politicians to media mogul Rupert Murdoch must be investigated.
"I hope you'll be calling the PM and Tony Blair and Gordon Brown to explain how that comes down from the top," he said. He stressed that following the close links enjoyed by the politicians and the "Murdoch press," News International had "unbounded confidence to do as it liked."'
